This is a simple mural of a dandelion with some of it seeds blowing off into the wind on a bright blue background. The picture is painted by an anonymous cancer patient that believes that the seeds holding onto the stem tell the story of those who have and are still battling cancer and are holding on. While others have let go.
The mural was painted as part of the Lilly Oncology on Canvas, where individuals affected by cancer are afforded an opportunity to share their stories through art.

It really brings my Yelp journey full circle. read more
