The attention to detail and extra steps taken ensure the children are well cared for. They love their teachers and we, as parents, are grateful to April and her team for always being so devoted to development and continuous improvement.

My kids have never complain about Vicki but they are scared of sandy, not to mention that sandy told me that my kid needed to be checked because something is wrong with him when he is a normal kid. I took him to the dr to be checked as sandy ordered and the dr said he's a normal kid but she won't allow my son back there so I just withdrew them. If you want your kids to come home hungry, judged and discriminated then feel free to bring your kids here. The teachers my kids had are awesome and actually tried to teach my kids something but the teacher in the school age class is constantly yelling at the kids and ignoring them. My son has told me that she only allows them to sit down and read constantly telling to "shut up" There is some ups and downs to the place but the owner really needs to clean up her attitude before she judges the wrong person.

Our children have been @ Goddard Kent for over 4 years and it's only because of the management and…read morethe teachers. I don't typically write long reviews and only after I wrote this did I realize how long it was. But as a Working parent with kids and I must use childcare. I hope this review helps someone else like me. We enrolled our first at Goddard Kent during COVID through the fluctuations that are life, they have remained a constant support and reliable resource for our family--it only made sense to enroll our daughter when she was born. It's hard to find people you trust with your kids. It's also hard to find people that are reliable. We have found both at Goddard. We have found teachers that genuinely love and care about our kids such as Ms. Marisol, Ms. Lakshmi, Ms. Dani, Ms. Erika, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Kalen, Ms. Veedy, Ms. Summer, Ms. Zulema, Ms. Summer, and Ms. Taraji, the list goes on. We have also really been impressed with the management, the owner Ms. Chelsea has a masters in early childhood development and she is incredibly passionate and invested in the work she is doing. The Director Ms. Jenn, I simply have no words--she is incredible. She shows up and gives 110% everyday. She truly recognizes, respects, and values the impact her work has on shaping this next generation of children. Ms. Dasha, is the brains behind the fun, She will help everyone and anyone, and our kids are obsessed with her. Ms. Jatinder is an invaluable resource supporting the teachers. Childcare is a difficult industry with lots of turnover. It's inevitable. But the thing about Goddard is that Because the owner and the management care, it means they hire teachers who also care. There's a reason why they call them teachers at Goddard And not babysitters. Note, check out Miss Erika in preschool 1 and her hand-painted poster of Pete The Cat-- or any other number of times I have witnessed the teachers that have gone above and beyond. For example, There was a friend that was particularly disruptive in one of our kids classrooms-- it was undeniably frustrating as a parent in the moment, However, in hindsight the way that management partnered with the child's parents in that situation with the support of the teacher To advocate for this kid to receive the resources he needed really showed me how much they care. That child was advocated for and supported. Along with all the other children in that classroom. That's my $.02.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son went here for over a year and was not only misunderstood…read morebut mistreated by a few of the staff members including the director. He has just recently been diagnosed with ADHD and was having issues in this preschool and has miraculously been doing amazing since going to kindergarten and leaving this facility. On numerous occasions I heard the way the staff spoke to my child along with other kids, and rushing them to next tasks. My son even mentioned them pinching his hands when they grabbed him. I knew something was off with my son due to tantrums and such and wanted resources to figure out what was going on that the director could hardly provide and refused to help me and when I asked for help multiple times ended up calling me "verbally abusive" because I called her and her staff out for their negligence and mistreatment of my child. Saying his behavior was due to "making choices." Come to find out he actually has ADHD which makes transitions, being yelled at, and demanded things very difficult to process. Crazy how a mom just knows their child but people try to tell you that your child is just "difficult" because he didn't fit in to a very ludicrous situation. My son is by no means perfect but really needed compassion and understanding. But it all worked out in the end!

I have to say my family and I are really grateful we found such a wonderful center. First of all…read morewhen I was comparing programs prior to choosing this one, they were the most friendly and welcoming and accommodating by far. I didn't feel like they were scripted when explaining what they can offer in the child care program or the instruction for my daughter. You can tell they are real people who love children and understand kids like structure but play time as well. The hours that they run are amazing; the best I have seen around. (I think 6am all the way to 7pm) Now I normally do only part of that but if I have to run an errand prior to pick up I know I have more than enough time. My drop off and pick up times change a lot, and can change daily which is absolutely fine with them. When my daughter started she was initially full time, 5 days a week. Now she does part time as my schedule has changed and they even allow drop in care. Since my daughter is only drop in now, I just need to call and let them know when I'll be dropping her "in". I can call as late as that morning! Another perk is the cost of care. If you have less than 5 hours a day it's a part time rate and if it's more than 5 hours the cost is a full time day. That is daily; one day can be 3 hours, the next maybe a long day at work and its 9 hours. That would be the cost of one full day and one part day. It's not all or nothing like all the other places. Last I would like to mention is the staff and director are very friendly and really love the kids. There has not been one time that I have seen them be any less then caring. I have walked in to pick up my daughter and witnessed pure melt downs of another child and they handled it gracefully and with empathy. I have no complaints. I highly recommend them.
