You can definitely see that this parish doesn't just speak about welcoming all, but truly does so through its actions. I also love the historic cemetery behind the main church, which serves as the final resting place of a gentleman named John McKenzie McIntosh, an American serviceman who was killed in action over the course of World War I. The cemetery also houses the final resting place of many other immigrants to Columbia, and as such, serves as a living piece of history. All-in-all, I love St. Peter's, and would highly recommend paying a visit, even if it's simply to admire the beauty and history of the grounds. Of course, I'd also recommend making it your permanent parish if you're a Catholic in the area!
