In our wedding day, at the end she says "do you guys want to say any vows" we both said no that it's okay, and she persist saying "anything at all" in a way making it uncomfortable and not love as in we didn't have any vows and just wing it. She reminded us we only had a couple of minutes and that she had another couple waiting .. what the.. we just end up going to the front paid her what was needed and got out of there. Therefore, it is sensible to pick someone who is well regarded and has experience. In chatting with Paul, he mentioned that he has officiated over 70 weddings this year ~ so clearly he is well trusted and practiced. Needless to say, I was impressed with Paul's demeanor and his prowess for managing such an important event; it's not easy but Paul makes it look that way.

We booked Reverend Haywood early in 2015 for a wedding in mid-May. At the time, we decided to pay…read morein full and take care of the fee ($300), instead of just the deposit ($100). We informed Mr. Haywood in April that we decided not to use his services and required the difference of $200 be returned. Mr. Haywood declined to return the money, and when I asked to review the contract we signed with him (of which we did not receive a copy), he said, "I have no such paperwork"; effectively lying about the contract so he could keep the $200. We learned a valuable lesson from Haywood. NEVER pay in full, and ALWAYS get the contract. Not only did he run away with our money, but he lied about the contract. Bad business practices. Not to mention he performed as an officiant for my sister in-law (Katie) and forgot her name during the ceremony and called her Kathy. Do not recommend.
