Kevin is such an amazing venue owner and was super helpful with everything from helping plan our big day with his super informative website, to being super flexible and allowing us to do everything we had imagined for our big day We got super lucky and the beautiful cottage was ready before our big day and we were so happy we decided to add that on, super cute little set up and really convenient for storage the night before and made it easy for us to enjoy our night knowing we only had to walk to the cottage instead of driving home. Not only are the venue and cottage beautiful, they are super affordable and well worth the price Kevin made this a very stressless process and we cannot express how grateful we are for him !! Wow, from the first moment we asked Kevin to meet with us for an interview...he was professional, kind and courteous. He answered all our questions, explained his entire process, and he was super easy to work with. We knew we had our guy! We just wanted Kevin for DJ services...but his super kind, easy going self, made us want him as our officiant. He was not pushy and explained what the next step was if we wanted to book him. He said "If you wish to book me, take some time to think it over, feel free to ask me any questions when you think of them as you get home, and if you wish to proceed you can pay the deposit to my account and I will forward the contract." The packages he had for DJ and Officiant was such a great deal, and his reviews were so amazing that we felt comfortable booking him. From his first couple follow up emails after we booked him, we knew we made the right choice. He was informative, and super RESPONSIVE. He never took more than a few hours to respond to an email or text. His quality of service is A PLUS- FIVE STAR! He helped us through the forms and the entire process. He went out of his way to meet with us for walk throughs and then drove a long distance to our venue the night before the wedding for our rehersal, he ran the entire rehersal which was super helpful...and he made us feel super at ease. The day of the event was WOW...he made sure everything went super smoothly, he knew exactly what needed to be done and when. Even though we had a photographer, she had to leave early because she went over her billed hours...and guess what Kevin did? He took out his professional camera and began snapping photos so that we didn't miss any memorable moments of the night (and he provided those to us the next day at no charge). Kevin's billed hours ended and our party did not, so asked us if we wanted to go into overtime, and he stayed extra with no problems and kept the party going. Kevin and his son Gerod did an amazing job! Kevin is very professional and organized! You will find out that he works out every detail possible. He met with my fiance (at the time) twice to work out every detail of the wedding reception from music to the a script of how it would flow. He let us choose our own music and provided lots of music has just about every song imaginable. My family and bridal party is mostly Filipino and he pronounced every name correctly (major stars for this) he made sure that he nailed the names down when announcing everyone involved. My fiance (at the time) and I kept making changes to details in music and set up all the way to the day of the wedding and Kevin was able to accommodate our needs. Kevin's equipment was top notch! He had an awesome light show and stereo system. Kevin was also able to set up, up -lights that made the venue walls glow blue. Sooo awesome! People complimented the bride and I on the up-lights. Kevin did a great job MCing the night also! He made the bride and I so relaxed throughout the night. Prior to the reception night we planned out a script of how the night would flow and he made sure it flowed smoothly and that the bride and I could relax and not worry about anything. Kevin checked on my wife and i throughout the night to make sure we were completely happy. Kevin even played interactive games with the crowd to get everyone involved. My wife and i asked that he get the crowd involved and we came up with a game that really broke the ice for all the guests. Kevin had the guests play "Sing for Your Supper." We had a buffet style dinner. If guests wanted to eat, they would have to sing as a table songs with the word "love" in it. It was hilarious seeing the tables compete to eat! I loved it. The one thing in our wedding that I was adament about was finding a professional DJ that offered planning services and could handle running the event as any wedding coordinator. We found Kevin and went through just about every review we could find and really had a hard time finding negative reviews. A few days removed from our wedding and I can see why. Kevin was incredible. His system for planning made sure our wedding had the necessary structure but also the flexibility to move along with the flow of our guests. He kept us on track but also was flexible when we asked for a few more minutes for certain events. He was engaging, kept our guests entertained and had creative ideas for us that we hadn't considered. After looking through our flow sheet I was concerned that things might be too structured but relied on Kevin's expertise and I am so glad I did. Everything went flawlessly from beginning to end and we owe a lot of that to Kevin. I also planned a last minute (literally told him at the rehearsal) suprise for my wife. I made a photo montage that I wanted played during the reception. Kevin helped make that happen in an incredibly special way. It may have been our favorite moment out of the entire wedding. After a lot of research and interviewing we hired Kevin to DJ our wedding on 5/30/15. Kevin is amazing, hands down. From the moment we interviewed him he was personable, professional, organized, very knowledgeable in his field, and you can tell he loves his job. He made the entire process easy. He answered all of my random emails/questions, gave me recommendations for other vendors when I was hitting a wall, kept me on task and dealt with my need for organization. He set up in 2 locations for the ceremony and reception, everything was seamless. He had his daughter as the 2nd DJ during the event, and it was even her birthday that day, and she spent it working my wedding. Class act that family is. He kept everything flowing smoothly, kept us on time, was NOT pushy, wrangled the groom and I in when it was almost time for the next event, MC'ed wonderfully, had great stage presence, he modified lighting throughout the night for each of the events, we left a lot of music selection up to him and he was on point. All his helpful resources he gives you are a HUGE help in the very overwhelming planning process. He showed a slideshow for me, and even offered to make the slideshow (for a small fee), I totally should have let him - turns out he's way better at it than I am. haha He stayed an extra 1.5 hours for us at no blink to him. Hopefully he felt the tip we left expressed our gratitude. haha. We received tons of compliments from our friends and family about him during and after the event. He even took pictures during the event and shared them with us and made us a video slideshow with a surprise video clip at the end! Way above and beyond what a DJ has to do. Working with Kevin and his daughter was a wonderful experience. They made everything effortless for us and you could see his true happiness for us during the event. He's funny and professional all in one. Can't say I have any future DJ needs but I would absolutely call Kevin first!
