My canon g7x ii flash was broken and all the repair places that I had tried in downtown Htx either took way too long to repair or gave me a crazy quote. I found this repair shop and I'm so glad I did. The guy was extremely kind and helpful and he fixed my camera at a very reasonable price and was able to get it to me so quickly. (He was even kind enough to fix some loose screws in my camera that were unrelated to the service I had came for) I will be coming here for any future camera repairs as well as recommending him to every other camera user out there. read more

When I needed some camera parts and service, I immediately thought of Webster Camera. So I googled and found that he moved out of the Webster area to the Rosharon area. It was a 30 minute drive from my home. I arrived and he has a shop behind his beautiful home. Super cute dogs lounging around too. Anyway, I walked into his shop and what a pleasant surprise. Vincent was very personable and honest. We talked about the camera and he looked it over real good. We came to the conclusion that there was nothing I needed but a lens cap. As a professional photographer, I should have known better than to frequent this shop. I took one of my Digital SLR's in for a sensore cleaning. I dropped it off and picked it up the next day and the sensor was dirtier than when I dropped it off. I took it back the following day and they tried again, I got it back and instead of the sensor being clean, the dust was just moved around to a different location. I will not take it backa third time. Nice enough folks in the shop and it is a old school style camera shop, but they simply were not able to complete the job to any satisfaction whatsoever. I would strongly recommend taking your gear for service somewhere else. If they are unable to handlge a simple task like this, I simoply do not know how they would be able to handle a more intense repair. read more

WARNING! This place is a scam! I was stupid enough yesterday (9-18-15) to buy a very high end Bogen tripod, used (almost everything they sell is used) under the description from the sales guy, Woody is his name, and he reassured me many times that it was checked out and in perfect working order. So I bought it right as they closed shop and never even had a chance to use it because I'd also have to get a head for it. -The place is seriously over priced! OK, so that night, last night, I got it home and set it up and it already began to malfunction because the moving parts underneath had so much rust on them that the rust is flaking apart all over my floor and the parts are getting hung up and they are brittle from so much corrosion. It's horrible. So the very next day, today, around 12:00 I went back to the store and the same guy was there and I told him the situation and even he had trouble trying to set the tripod up. BUT GUESS WHAT? He absolutely refused to give me my money back! He said no way in hell would he ever under any circumstances give me or anybody else their money back no matter what! So now, not only am I out over $200 for a used piece of absolute worthless junk, but as well I cannot even use the junk that I bought from them! And now I have to go and buy yet another tripod yet again, wasting even more of my very hard earned money!!!! To say this is the worst customer service is an understatement. To say that you are taking an enormous risk when buying from them is another understatement. To say that the sales guy will tell you anything in order to extract your money is another understatement. Not only am I not ever going to do any business with them again, but I'm going to do the right thing and contact the BBB, on Monday I'm going to contact my friends at Channel 13 Eye Witness News! As well as every single forum and review board on the web, as well as word of mouth to everyone I know in the filming industry and I'm planning on contacting a lawyer about filing a class action law suit to pay not only for this piece of junk tripod, but 100% of my legal fees as well, just so I can hopefully save everybody else out there from making the same horrible mistakes! I hope that money they scammed from me serves them very well because that is the very last cent they will ever get from me again. I'm taking pictures of the rust and will post them shortly. I purchased an item online from them, and paypal was charged right away for the price. I waited ten days, and saw checking my order online that it was still "Pending." I called them, got a man who I could barely undestand, and he told me he did not have a shipping address. He said he had called me three times. I don't remember the order entry page on their site, but I asked him how they could accept online orders without a shipping address. He said they typically take online orders from local people, and the customer comes in or they deliver. I told him he should fix his order-entry system so an order cannot be entered without an address. Also, Paypal was charged slightly more than the order total was confirmed at. He had no explanation for that. I gave him my address and he said he would ship that day. Later he called to tell me something about shipping cost being extra and whatever, but I could not even understand what he was saying. I said I wouldn't pay shipping as it was not part of the sale price to begin with. I caught something about him already refunding the order cost to me thru Paypal. I don't know how/why he did this before talking to me. I gave him a piece of my mind and hung up. Checked paypal, and I did get the refund, luckily. This business is obviously not prepared to take online orders to be shipped anywhere. I won't be using them again. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more
