I would think this location is quite popular but it didn't seem too busy. Parking is not an issue which is a plus. Inside feels slightly dark and small compare to what I'd hope for in a bank but since I don't visit the bank too often, environment is not too important as long as my transactions are done accurately and securely. Waiting time was around 10 minutes, there was only 1 financial advisor person working so we had to wait until the current customer to finish. Heard they don't have a lot of traffic flow there. During the one hour we spent there, we didn't encounter too many people. From all the Santander financial representatives I've encountered, I haven't had a bad experience yet. They all have the common traits of willingness to help/listen and patience. I always felt comfortable with them and feel like they cared about my opinions and feedback. Santander bank is awesome but this location itself is not as favorable as other branches I have visited which includes south Windsor and Manchester.

Amy continued on that vibe as she ushered me into her office to open a new account. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and provided me with a wealth of information, yet was still respectful of my time. I had plans to open a business account with another bank, but Santander won me over.

There are 7 offices of NWCB in Litchfield county, and we are under the umbrella of CMHC Connecticut Mutual Holding Company with 2 other community banks - Litchfield Bancorp and Collinsville Savings Society. Honestly, a 100% better experience than any commercial or competitor bank, we offer generally competitive and sometimes lower rates, less fees, one-on-one NO-FEE customer service with happy customers. A much easier and hassle free way of managing personal, and business banking. The only pitfall is that we have local ATM's, and restricted locations! Great if you're settled down in the area, but we do accommodate to travel and have dedicated customers throughout the country.

I was given a Wells…read moreFargo bank draft which bank drafts are only good for deposit now the dealership I got it from the day that I was there probably I mean, and this is a conservative number gave out 20 of them. People were mobile depositing them all sitting right there while we were on the waiting room no problem my check has been rejected by two different financial institutions one of them being capital one telling me that they can't verify the check or bank draft .. the dealership called and verified everything on their end to make sure the check was all printed correctly and they have had no other issues with any of the other tax issue that day so I attempted to call Wells Fargo to find out what to do as I have a several thousand dollar check that I can do nothing with now bank drafts can't be cashed. They have to be deposited so even if I was to take the hour and a half drive from where I live to go to a Wells Fargo bank, I would not be able to cash. This depositing is the only option so I called Wells Fargo to try and figure out what exactly is going on with this bank draft I thought when I did the first mobile deposit that it was maybe you know over the limit or whatever so I called and checked with my banks information now when I go to deposit it, it says right on their deposit screen that they cap the deposit at $20,000. This check is not over 20,000 and the original rejecting bank told me straight up they can't do it maybe try another financial institution, but they're unable to verify this check and therefore cannot deposit it so I went with my capital one account a very well known nationwide bank that I have mobile deposited way larger checks no problem as I've had this account for years. The representative from Wells Fargo was like oh yeah well your mobile your mobile banking has limits and that's why and I said yeah it does have limits I said, but the limit for my mobile deposit was not exceeded. I've even spoke to the customer service representative and they told me it was because the check cannot be verified. They would Wells Fargo would not give me any information or help me. He just kept saying the same thing over and over again all things that I've already checked and that I told him he checked then he told me oh I can transfer you to the specific department for that so I said sure he transfers me over to a automated Tele check line which I do not have an account at Wells Fargo and no matter what options I pushed I could not get to a human being. I sold my car to a very large dealership. That's not just nationwide worldwide. I spoke to several other people that were in the waiting room that day when I was there because they were all depositing their checks Mobley while they were sitting right there and all of theirs went right through mine would go in and then not even two minutes later I got a push notification and an email from my bank, rejecting it all saying the same thing that they could not verify for the check from the issue or remitter so I now have sold my vehicle and I'm stuck with a bank draft from Wells Fargo that no one will deposit and Wells Fargo either will not or cannot give me any information on a check that is in my name my current address that I live on that matches my ID and I now am out thousands of dollars and as I've stated before I've deposited checks larger than this to both of the accounts I tried to deposit this one. The dealership is at a loss because as I said, there were several other people given checks on the very same day and only mine will not be paid. The fact that Wells Fargo, who is the issuing bank will not give me any information or help on. This is ridiculous. It is not the car dealership's fault. They're issuing bank drafts from a 212 billion dollar banking institution. A bank draft is a guaranteed check that means the bank has guaranteed the funds. Also a bank draft cannot be canceled so the dealership cannot simply cancel it and issue me a new one to see if they'll honor the new one so Wells Fargo is issuing bank drafts, which is a guaranteed form of payment, but they are not allowing the verified funds to be released
