Gervon and I go way back so the trust was there off the bat, so for those who may not know him directly, just know that he is a man of integrity. When he says he's going to do something, you never have to ask twice. When it came to choosing a realtor I personally looked for 3 characteristics: integrity, problem-solving, and attention to detail. I'm sure there's more that goes into real estate but these were the most important to be and in just these 3 aspects alone, there are few to none that can even come close to Gervon. In the simplest way to describe my experience, I told Gervon I wanted his help buying a house in the beginning of May and closed/moved into my ideal home by the beginning of June. He accommodated my aggressive touring plan and all the details I was looking for and had me set up in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Gervon's services to those that come to the greater Seattle area looking for a home. You will be hard pressed to find a realtor with half as much drive and ambition to deliver results than Gervon.

It's not always the case that a buyer's representation (Realtor) commits to and genuinely behaves in a way that demonstrates respect, consideration and a high quality of service to the selling parties in a for sale by owner transaction. Shannon treated us (in all communications) as if we were also her clients which is what we think separates her from most. Additionally, her follow-up and attention to key milestones was excellent and we would engage her services without hesitation for buyer or seller representation in the future. She was willing and able to meet us at almost any time on any day, whether planned in advance or spur of the moment. She didn't bat an eye when we wanted to see a house a second time, even though we had originally rejected that particular home. Juliann was very conscious of our budget and was in great communication with our lender. When it came to closing, she was able facilitate getting our closing completed on a Thursday and we were able to get the keys the NEXT day. We were able to sleep in our new home the day after closing. Even now, more than a year later, Juliann reaches out to us to see how we are doing. I felt very much in the dark about everything the whole time. We had to file an extension but she made it out that she was getting us the house early. That extension ended up costing us thousands of dollars. She gave bad advice and recommended friends, vs intelligible people to do their jobs. In the end it wasn't worth it, even with us being paid. She didn't even check in after we bought the house and moved in. She left us to get the keys, without so much as a CONGRATS! Or even good luck. At least it's done and over with. Realizing it was a Sunday evening at approx 7pm, I apologized profusely when she answered the phone. I offered multiple times to schedule a time for a call later in the week since I could hear a bit of agitation in her voice and knew it was non-business hours. New to this area, and highly interested in the condo I asked her whether she could do a "dual rep" situation, to which she replied that she could. With every question, sentence or anything I had to say she sounded agitated and annoyed. Again, I told her I was sorry for calling on a Sunday. When I casually asked what the story for the condo was, whether they were military, etc., she responded with disgust and dismay. I quickly ended the call, as I was appalled at her continual snarky remarks. As a CA Attorney and former CA real estate broker, how could I ever use her in a dual rep scenario if she was so annoyed to speak with me? If you want to be spoken to in a condescending manner, and feel like you're bothering your agent, then Melanie Coehlo is the agent for you!
