For that class, babies under 24 months can come, play with non-toxic finger paints, toys and other activities. At the end of the class, parents leave with a very cute footprint art. It's a great and affordable way for babies and adults to socialize. Classes are $10, and 100% worth it. They also offer open play classes, which is open to any age. There is an option for a membership pass for this class. Artnasium also offers homeschool classes, monthly date night babysitting event and waaaaay more. The owner is very sweet and friendly, and I adore her daughters. To sum it up, The Artnasium is a really great way to get out of the house, and get kids and parents socialized. Go here, you won't be disappointed and I promise you'll make it a regular event on your calendar.

Kids can play in one hour increments and the cost is $6.00 per hour per child under 5. They have two party rooms available for rent and three play areas. The large play room is tailored toward younger children with an inflatable jumpy house, a tree house with a slide/play area and a play section for the youngest of kids. The second room is an interactive play area with bean bags for the kids to sit in. The third room is catered to older children who like to run around and play with nerf guns. The staff is very friendly and the business hours are great for if you want to come different times of the day. I spoke with the owner Sabrina and she informed me that they have an after school program during the week that provides childcare for parents during the weekdays. They travel within a certain radius to local schools and pick the children up from school. This business has only been open for 6 months and I am very impressed with the services provided. Also there are some other programs and events in the work, especially with summer being around the corner. This business gets a 5 star rating from me and my niece.

The lady was not helpful and just told us to check if it was and barely even helped us with whatever we needed. It felt vexatious. Kids seemingly broke the rules yet the team members didn't care. They literally watched them do it and enforced zero rules about it. No thank you, no greeting, just them with a straight face just not even caring about anyone or anything. The place is good, and fun too, but the employees are aggravatingly unhelpful, and they seemingly let the staff just do this? Please, no.

Brahan Spring Park has been here forever, ya'll. Since the 70s at least. It used to be home to the…read moreHuntsville Tennis Center, which the city moved to Airport Road - it was city owned and operated and public. They replaced the tennis courts with sand volleyball courts. The Park has the 2nd oldest disc golf course. It has at least 1 18-hole disc golf course in super-tall pine trees on the east side. You can fish here. The water features are on the south and north sides of Drake Avenue. People catch big mouth bass and catfish here. They have vending machines where you can buy food for the fish, ducks, and geese. There's a free splashpad here, and I think it's on astroturf that's open from Open Memorial Day - Labor Day, every day from 10:00AM to dusk. It closes very Tuesday at 5:30 PM and reopens on Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM to allow for maintenance. There's not a lot of shade near the splashpad, so you may want to bring an umbrella or some type of covering to get some relief in the hot summer months. I can't think of many restaurant options in the immediate area, except for the McDonald's which is just east of the park, the food court at Parkway Place Mall, the City Cafe Diner east of the park on Drake, a walk-up Taqueria El Cazador at Drake, and Triana and another Mexican place closer to the park on Drake. In other words, pack a lunch to enjoy! Covered pavilions are available to rent for events such as parties and reunions. We grew up playing ball in the ball fields at Brahan Spring. It looks like they offer flag football, soccer, and softball and baseball now. Personally, I would limit my visits to daytime/morning hours if I were taking children to this park. Also, the restrooms aren't very convenient to the splash pads and are often locked.
