Ok- TODAY I finally went to the We Rock Rocks main location on Nebraska in Tampa- the previous review was for the new location in Wesley Chapel at the Krate Markets and when I added the new business, Yelp kicked my review here instead of adding the new location! ANYWAY- today I pulled into the corner parking lot at Nebraska and Bearss and the exterior looks a little run down- but inside, the energy shift happens. Walk though the front door and soak in all the wonderful energy. Huge crystals catch your eye first, but the aisles of displays beckon you to choose a direction! I went left and made my way to the far left wall- done in Chakras- each color/Chakra had a full display of complimenting merchandise. Crystals, singing bowls and more. A brightly painted canvas represented each of the chakras. The visual of the entire wall drew me in. I took my sweet time looking here. Then the aisles of crystals, crystals and more crystals! They even have this cool table near the registers to make your own manifestation bottles- pick out the herbs and crystal chips to for your own bottle. I've made these at home before- so fun! I left with too much, Labradorite, raw tigers eye, Fuschite, Green Opal & a few more stones (already put away)! I also love their earrings and grabbed 2 more pairs. Ugh, I miss this place so much. This was my first time visiting after their relocation from the flea market. So I've been on a mission to find my brother a nice sized amethyst rock and this place kept popping up and I finally made my way to try check it out. It's safe to say they probably have what you're looking for. They have small, medium, large, and super large crystals and rocks. They have different types of amethyst -- there was almost too much to pick from. In my opinion everything seemed moderately priced. So many rocks, so little time! The selection here is outstanding and the salespeople are very knowledgeable about what they are selling! I bought several crystals and will be back for more! I bought an amazonite pendulum, labradorite, iolite, quartz, and a sodalite crystal. Right now, they are requiring masks, but they are giving you a free crystal for wearing your mask! That's a good trade off! They also ask you to wash your hands when you walk in the door and that is a great idea because crystals take on energy so easily. Largo Location: This is not your typical rock shop filled with old men and women and dusty shelves filled with thousands of specimens, so I was somewhat disappointed. They did have a good selection of specimens and prices ranged from $1 to $1000, so lots of selection. This is more of a retail metaphysical crystal shop minus the books. If you know what shungite is, this will be of interest to you. I tested most of the shungite available and half tested were not shungite. So buyer beware! If you want authentic shungite, be sure to bring a multimeter and test the pieces you are interested in. The fact that half the shungite was fake makes me wonder how many other fakes were in the shop... read more

This experience was odd to say the least after coming recommended from a girl who complimented me on my crystal necklace. Not sure quite what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. We visited on a Saturday and found it ridiculously packed. We were greeted by a woman who told us to go wash our hands, and then as we tried to squeeze by others to go wash up, we were yelled at by a different woman to go wash our hands and the first woman had to intervene to say she already addressed it. The store was just filled with bowls and shelves of rocks. Again, I knew it would be a crystal focus but I expected more jewelry or something. We stopped by the little counter they had and ran across a few issues. The woman with blue hair was doing something with papers spread all over the top of the case which made it challenging to look at jewelry. Eventually we had to try getting her attention for guidance in finding a specific type of stone. She pulled out a tray for me and upon pulling out one ring that caught my eye, I saw all the rings were size 6 or smaller which wouldn't even fit on my pinky. I was pretty uncomfortable at that point between the massive amount of customers in the store, the lack of product variety, and the rude service received. Might go in on a Tuesday afternoon someday to reevaluate and see if it's different, but this could have provided for a special moment between my boyfriend and I in getting jewelry for our anniversary but failed to meet the challenge. read more
