Gates locked, no one on site, and the phone message saying they were busy on the other line LOL. No signs noting it was closed for a specific reason AND I called the day before and the man told me they are open tomorrow (being today, Saturday) from 830 to 5. While we were there 6 other groups of people showed up with tons of stuff loaded in their cars and trucks and we all sat baffled at them being closed. What a joke and a waste of time, thanks!

I have been a residential Alpine customer for about 6 years. I was only doing monthly pickup…read morerecently (was doing weekly for the 5 years prior). I was away last week and missed the pickup. my own fault but come this week I went out to ask the guy doing pickups if he wouldn't mind taking it today. He responded with an absolute "No" and that I was out of luck. Then proceeded to tell me I should have done it on my scheduled date. While he does not have any obligation to to do so as it was indeed my fault for not being around the previous week, I feel that it was a small gesture since Alpine was already paid for the pickup. I was standing in front of the driver, next to the garbage can I mentioned and he couldn't be bothered. This is what customer service looks like in 2015. Looks like Waste Management, reFuse or someone else local can thank you for a new customer.

I haven't used their services but was the victim of rage shown by one of their employees today…read more Coming home from an appointment with my husband, we turned the corner leading to our house to find an alpine slinger truck parked across the whole road. We waited, and a minute later a man came around the truck and signalled that we can't drive through there. I yelled that I lived there and need to get home. He started yelling, " oh f#@k, so now I have to move the f#@king truck. Well you'll just have to f#@king wait." He yelled some other profanities and walked closer to our vehicle. We then drove off since we knew he was in a bad mood. Parked down a side street and walked home. I emailed the company to let them know. No email back as of yet.

I have been there only a couple times; the first time I didn't weigh the material I was dropping off , and when I Looked at the receipt it all seemed ok. The second time I weighed everything with my own scale before I stopped by. As soon as I got there, I told them what I had and they proceeded to put the materials on their scale. At that moment I got a little distracted and didn't pay much attention to the numbers the came up with. It wasn't until I saw my receipt when I noticed that they only put less than half of the material weight compared to what I got with my own scale. I talked to them about it, and they took care of it right away, supposedly they got a couple numbers mixed up. I know that we'll make mistakes at some point, but if we don't have an idea of much materials we're bringing in, how will we catch this mistakes ?.......
