We got free cookies and free "record store day 2019" if you purchased an exclusive RSD vinyl. There was a line out the door but that's common if the store is known for purchasing a lot of RSD exclusive vinyls. Once you made it through the line there were three crates to look through. Some years you luck out and find all the ones you wanted and sometimes you get to the end of the line just to find out that your top picks have already been snagged. That's the fun of it though. Looking forward to going to this store early next RSD.

If you're looking for lots of stock of new stuff this might not be your spot but if you want fairly priced used records then this is a great spot. I have found a lot of hidden gems in here over the years at both locations. In the past I've gotten nice vinyl copies of hard rock bands like Captain Beyond and Lucifers Friend for NOT discogs/online prices. Last week I got a sealed Weird Al cassette for just a few dollars and this album is not available on vinyl so it makes it extra fun. They are not trying to be cool or capitalize on vinyl - they just like and sell lots of music and media. Go support - Go dig!

I record and listen to the Bill Winston Ministries broadcast daily. I discovered after listening for a while that the teaching from this broadcast, were so anointed and has so impacted my life and my future ministry. I asked my daughter-in-law to take me to the mall so I could visit Living Word Christian Center in hopes of meeting Pastor Winston personally. I saw the Royal Christian Bookstore as I searched for the church at the mall, so I went into the bookstore asking for directions. I shared with them who I was and that I was looking for the church. The staff was so warm and excited in meeting us, hearing my story and why I had come to visit. After assisting me with my shopping, several of the staff members personally gave us a tour of the church and the Joseph School for Business. It so happened that there was a holiday sale going on at the bookstore as well. We spent approximately 2-hours between shopping at the bookstore and going on a tour. This ended-up being the highlight of my visit to Chicago, aside from the visit with my family. The selection in the bookstore was great and well worth the trip. The staff treated us like family, it was the experience of a lifetime, we will be forever indebted to the staff, I've called back to the bookstore since my trip, just to say hello and to again thank them for the warm reception, the tour, and the like family atmosphere of Royal Christian Bookstore and Cafe, I recommend it highly. Still not sure if it was but they said they didn't have my reservation despite me saying they had my deposit. Gave me a number to call, which I did 2x and left voicemails, no response. I honestly thought I was getting scammed. 2. They state you need 7 car lengths of room for the truck. You probably only need about 4. The gaming trailer pulled up, hooked up to a Tacoma that was clearly too small to be pulling it. The back end of his truck was tilted down and looked very unprofessional with his busted taillight. The trailer was very dirty on the outside. 3. When I booked this party, I mentioned I needed WiFi because it's a Fortnite birthday. The gaming host didn't complete the update by the time he came to my party and told me it was going to take 4 hours, but 1 TV outside the trailer had it. So now, the birthday boy has to play OUTSIDE the trailer by himself while all his friends were inside. 4. The controllers weren't working. So now my son is almost in tears because he patiently waited an hour (which we only had the trailer for 2 hours) to play his favorite game on his birthday and it still wasn't working. I had to use my own gaming controllers. 5. The "Gaming coach" was a joke. There was literally no interaction with the kids at all. I think he said 3 words the entire time he was here. He was scrolling on his phone the entire time. Yes, I did call. Yes, they gave me $175 off. But it's still not right. I throw big parties for my kids every year and this is the first year I am truly disappointed & still out $350 for a terrible experience. Just trying to help the next mom who puts in weeks of work preparing and planning to make everything special for her kids. Find a different company.

I ordered 10 new cameras from Electro Brand through NewEgg.com. The cameras that were delivered to…read moreme were used floor models with scratches and videos from different people. The initial response from the customer service rep was that I was wrong, minutes later, he acknowledged that I was in fact correct. Instead of offering to exchange the cameras to what I paid for, I was given the option of exchanging 3 of the 10. Obviously, that was way below my expectations and soon after, Electrobrand began claiming that they have negotiated a 5 year warranty for each camera with one of my coworkers. They would not provide a name or number and no one I work with has spoken to them. This has been going on since September. The level of unwillingness to help make this right is astonishing. It is to the point where customer service will literally just hang up on me. I am at the point where I just want a refund and nothing else, but the situation seems to only be getting worse. Be warned: This business is not interested in giving you what you pay for and will do anything to make you miserable. Go with ANYONE ELSE.
