Our next door neighbour hired Davey Tree to trim their 2 trees. They requested access to our…read morebackyard to make it easier which was granted by my partner. He checked their progress a few times (luckily was working from home) and branches were being taken down and the tree thinned. We had vines growing up and covering our fence (our neighbours back yard is an eyesore). Some of these vines (which we planted a decade ago) had grown onto the tree trunk and up the tree. Permission was given to TRIM them. When I got home from work I noticed ALL the vines had been removed and destroyed. Vines were left hanging ripped off other parts of the fence and 10 year old trunk destroyed. In addition the careless workers trampled plants in the garden that my mother, who died last month had planted. I had a gardener lined up to come and work on the garden in preparation for a celebration of life in our back, but now will have to pay to have everything removed and new plants put in. I spoke with the operator who said he would come out and look at the property the next time he was in the area, but there is no point when everything has been destroyed. An email to the operator and head office has not been answered in 4 days, so I assume like so many others, they just don't care. Careless work with no regard for other peoples property. Beyond upset that they had zero concern or respect for our personal property. Thanks for ruining our backyard and costing us hundreds of dollars to fix. The thing that makes me chuckle is our neighbours likely won't pay, google cheap and you'll see them.
