Not only does Wayside Farm have the best selection of plants, but they now grow lettuce in a greenhouse using a water system. I tried a head and it was the most delicious lettuce I've ever had! It is also incredibly clean because it's not grown in dirt. It also stays fresh in the fridge for a long time. I wish they would start selling it a market closer to Holderness because the drive is long to get it on a regular basis. read more

A two inch baby rosemary was way overpriced $4.99. I could have gotten a better deal at Shaws. The Oregano was also close to $4 and was obviously left outside & half the leaves were frost bitten. no discount was offered. Not good business. not good selection. Will never return. read more

Specialties

Wayside Farm grows and produces over 1000 high quality annual and perennial plants. Great Northern Berries grows fully hardy berry plants for northern New England gardeners, including Honeyberry plants. We are open mid-April to Columbus Day.

Established in 1981.

We started as a small nursery, growing and evolving over the years to produce high quality, unique plants. We grow and sell berry plants, harvesting the fruit for sale to our customers and local wineries.
