If you're stuck, I mean, visiting Pointe du Bois, this is pretty much your only source for ANYTHING…read morewithin a 45 minute drive. Parking is available in the lot out front. The store is fairly beaten up, but contains most essentials (including liquor). I guess the owner doesn't plan on having too many customers, as over 1/2 of the shelves are literally empty. You'd think you were in the middle of a war zone or something. Beer is available in a refrigerated room in the back, and liquor is available in a caged locker by the front counter. Hey, we all gotta cope somehow. The girl behind the counter was friendly and helpful. She even let us buy "single" rolls of paper towers. Very nice of her. She told us the store can also order in some hot food such as pizzas, or even home-cooked meals.
