Wayne is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. During his sales pitch to get your listing business he is attentive, a smooth talker and great listener, and gives the impression of being a highly competent individual. After securing your listing, he becomes a different person. Wayne hands you off to his staff, zeroes in on obtaining his next listing, and forgets you existed. I fell for his sales pitch, lost ~$200K, and almost got sued by the buyer of our property due to Wayne's negligence and incompetence. I gave Wayne several opportunities to make things right. Rather taking owning his mistakes and doing the right thing (refunding his undeserved commission), he became completely uncommunicative. Refunding the commission wouldn't have helped me recoup the $200K lost or the money spent on lawyer fees, but it would have been a symbol of Wayne's integrity. In closing, I'll say "once bitten, twice shy". Please work with a different realtor if you have a choice. read more
