Great school that offers a master program. The instructors and staff really bend over backwards for the students.

They will lie to you about your financial aid & not give you all your funds - I'm not the only…read morestudent they do this to. They also have your funds arrive at different dates and are always late like about three weeks late getting to you - they steal some of your financial aid. So if you are ok with that, go to this school if not, I would avoid it. It's incredibly difficult to even get a response but reasons and dates and amounts constantly change with financial aid. They should have a class action suit against them with all the students they have stolen w money from.

She literally had me restart the whole process 2 times, and even after all that still couldn't get it right. She would say everything is 100% done, then ignore me for a 2-3 weeks only to come back and say we had to do more things, things that if she did her job, where all avoidable. I almost went into debt for almost 30k, and 2 years of school with this. They couldn't get it right before they had my money, I can only imagine how they would do after I was locked in for 30k. The one saving grace was Judy in Tucson. She was literally the only person in Tucson that tried to help and even called me on her own personal phone and personal time. Thank you for trying Judy.

I endured this, however. I completed my studies at Carrington and went on to deal with a very difficult externship. I was so excited to graduate and walk across the stage. When that day came, I found myself in the hospital after a horrible accident. I reached out to the staff at Carrington and asked them if I could please be given the opportunity to participate in a later graduation ceremony, so I could still walk across the stage and celebrate all the hard work I had put in and endured. I was told that I would hear from Kathy Bailey about participating in the next graduation ceremony. I never heard from her. It has been 10 months. Ive already accepted the fact that I will not be getting a graduation. The robes that I purchased with my own hard earned money are collecting dust and will never be worn. This is my own experience at carrington. I strongly encourage any student seeking to further their education to look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and your energy.

As a former student, I want to share my honest review at this school before you enroll. THANK ME…read moreLATER! The tuition has increased significantly this year, reaching around $100,000 to $120,000 or more, which is much higher than at other private schools. The rules frequently change each semester, so what you're told when you join can quickly become outdated every semester, leading to serious financial debt if you don't pass. The environment is toxic, with unprofessional behavior from both faculty and students. Many students experience bullying, and I have witnessed instructors gossiping about other students without any repercussions. If you have a problem, don't expect support from the dean; they often prefer to remove you rather than address the issue. In the labs, we repeatedly used the same needles and had to recap them. When I didn't pass a check-off on the first try, a professor reacted poorly and embarrassed me in front of my classmates, her reason "we only have a few needles to use." Mistakes are part of learning, yet we were not allowed to make them. I would rate the quality of teaching a 2 out of 10, except for the PEDS class, which was excellent thanks to Professor Premo. However, be prepared to read the entire textbook, which is challenging due to the fast-paced program. When you ask for help, they may suggest, use AI instead of helping you, which is quite ridiculous. Lots of topics in the lectures are skipped with some Instructor saying "oh, No need to learn this it's not gonna come out on the exam anyway" but wait until you take the NCLEX which focus on information you don't know! Some students were given unfair advantages, such as private rooms for exams without cameras and extra time. Additionally, regarding the exams, you won't know which questions you answered incorrectly, making grades feel arbitrary and manipulable (you don't know exactly what questions you missed) don't forget this is all about business. This can result in you having to retake expensive classes or not passing at all. While I can't speak for the Phoenix branch, the Tucson branch has poor management and an overall unsatisfactory atmosphere. Overall, this branch appears to operate more as a business focused on profit rather than on supporting student success. It can feel like a trap once you're in. The school's condition is disappointing, especially considering the high tuition, and interactions with the Senior Dean were particularly rude and unprofessional toward both students and faculty. Good luck if you decide to attend!
