What a friendly little airport. Decent fuel prices for pilots, they have a courtesy car for those…read morethat fly in and want to run to town for lunch. Best of all they have an A-6E Intruder as the static display. I flew in for a Saturday Breakfast with the EAA chapter. Ended up taking a fellow EAA member for a quick flight and talked for a while, got fuel and took pics for the Intruder. Runways are smooth and the taxiways are smooth as well.

When I thought it couldn't get any better, there is a free breakfast area - coffees, teas, refrigerated cold drinks, homemade granola, fresh pastries and bagels!! There are a couple units in this building. Ours was upstairs. Keep that in mind if stairs are challenging. I'm sure the lower unit is marvelous too.

Once upon a time there were upscale restaurants there--but they never lasted very long. The airport looks pretty cool at night--a field of blue lights that looks that a giant night club. During the day, it is cool to go watch people fly their Cessnas...
