I went here once as a guest of my friend's alumni party a while back. It was quite an elaborate class reunion. They had tents set up with tables, almost like a wedding party gig. The food spread was quite nice as well. Warm and cold food items available. The campus alone is quite beautiful for a walk on a weekend. Mitt Romney went to school here. Walk of alumni in the courtyard. I have a few friends that are alumni to this school. It's a top 10 preparatory school, I think. I see why. The alumni I know are all successful and wickedly smart too.

This is our family's first year at Bloomfield Christian School, and we already feel so blessed to…read morebe part of the BCS community. (To my knowledge - It is currently the only Classical Christian school in Michigan that is accredited through the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS), and you can see why--it is deeply intentional about both faith and academics. From the very beginning, it has felt more like joining a church community than simply enrolling in a school. We fully agree with and support the statement of faith, and we love seeing biblical values lived out even in small ways; like the boys being taught to hold the doors for girls and carry heavier items. The school affirms the sanctity of life, encourages Godly standards for both students and parents, and grounds everything in piety rooted in Christ. The teachers clearly love what they do, and it shows. They are supported not only by leadership but also by parent involvement, which creates a strong sense of partnership. The communication is incredible--daily contact with our child's teacher, weekly updates from leadership, and constant connection with other parents in the class. That's something we deeply appreciate. Another thing that stands out is the way the community handles challenges. Because the school is full of believers, we all share the most important thing in common: Christ. That means when conflict or drama arises--whether among the kids or adults--it's addressed with a spirit of repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. We also love that the school is intentional about keeping education classical and Christ-centered. There's minimal technology in the classrooms; the kids read from real books, and cell phones are checked in at the main office all day. It's refreshing to know they're learning in a focused, time-tested way. Uniforms and dress codes are another thing we appreciate. They take away the stress of deciding what's appropriate and set a standard of dignity and modesty for both boys and girls, especially for formal events. We haven't yet experienced the sports programs, but we're excited to dive in and support BCS in all the ways we can. To say we recommend Bloomfield Christian School would be an understatement. We feel truly honored to be part of this Christ-centered, classical community, and we're so grateful our family is here.

Our family has been part of this school community for several years now, and we could not be more…read morethankful for the gift it has been to our children. The classical Christian education model has given them not only strong academics, but also a foundation of faith, virtue, and critical thinking that is truly shaping who they are becoming. The teachers are exceptional -- deeply knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and fully invested in both the minds and hearts of their students. They partner with parents in a way that makes education feel like a shared calling rather than just a program. We've also been especially impressed with the new gym curriculum. It challenges the students in fresh and exciting ways, helping them build discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Our kids actually look forward to gym class, which speaks volumes! The school has been a place of joy, growth, and community for our whole family. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a school where truth, goodness, and beauty are at the center of learning. I would give BCS 10 stars if I could. Sending my children here is truly one of the best parenting decisions that I have ever made and I'm grateful for this school every single day.

I cannot say enough positive things about Academy of the Sacred Heart. I'm quick to tell my friends…read moreand family that if I could sit down and imagine my ideal school, it would be Sacred Heart. The staff is fantastic with an unparalleled commitment to the intellectual and character development of the children. Lots of great after school extra curricular activities your children will enjoy. The building and campus environment is beautiful, with bright, warm and welcoming classrooms. Whenever we've visited the school everyone has always been so kind and gracious - so happy to have us visit. Administrative affairs are conducted with a high level of professionalism and efficiency. And my favorite feature of the school is the wonderful sense of community/family that resonates in the interactions between staff, students and parents. If you're considering Academy of the Sacred Heart for your son or daughter I would suggest going to visit. You don't need to wait for an open house just call the office and schedule and appointment. You just can't place a price tag on investing in the very best educational experience for your children. Every tuition dollar will be well worth it, when you watch your child flourish and grow into the bright young man or woman God has called them to be. I have to give ASH an A. It's a wonderful school to consider for any parent who simply wants the very best educational experience for their child.
