Shayla is INCREDIBLE!! I'm so so excited I got to work with her. She was really gentle and kind, offering to change and modify services that made more sense for me. Shayla even went as far as to remove an ingrown hair on my stomach that I've been struggling with for years. I have hair under my belly button that leaves me very self conscious. I mentioned that to Shayla and she was immediately encouraging me to be the best woman I can be. She didn't have to do that, or go ridiculously above and beyond, but she did and I feel so much better for it. I feel like an empowered, sexy woman and it's all thanks to Shayla! I have gotten my eyebrows waxed twice here now, both times by Liz. Who is WONDERFUL. I have NEVER had my eyebrows done where it barely even hurts. I mean really, my skin doesn't come out looking all red and irritated. She also puts concealer and fills them in when she is done which make them look even better! And I get a little card in the mail after every visit... A hand written card. I'm not sure if this is a Nebraska thing or what, but I love it and I think that's so cool. The Midtown location is honestly the absolute best. Wonderful from start to finish. I've quickly become a return customer for not just service but also for the retail products that they carry. Their front desk staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and present for whatever questions I have regarding the whole process and after care of my skin as well as letting me know of their specials, memberships, and new products. I've consistently had Ashlei for all of my services from brows to nose to legs. She is very professional, great company during the service (Especially since I'm very new to getting waxed), and she is extremely practiced. Making sure it is as comfortable and quick without cutting any corners. She's always helped not just with what I came for, but also tailoring the style or look of my waxes through her expertise. And the management, Anne, is a consummate professional. I would buy Bailey a drink if she wasn't on the clock. I her so. That was definitely the best wax I've ever had, coast to coast. I appreciate that they remind you to exfoliate and to stay hydrated in advance because you do have such a better result when you're taking care of your skin and waxing regularly. The staff is lovely and accommodating. The salon is clean and orderly but devoid of any warmth or character: dark grey walls adorned with advert posters for a location you are already inside of is so off-putting. Not sure who the in-salon advertisements are for. I feel bad for the technicians having to endure such stark, institutional environs all day. Some local art or a less ominous color would go far to make the room look less depressing. As someone who has been waxing for two decades, a few issues made my first leg wax and regular bikini session with this chain less than ideal. My cerologist (their term for wax esthetician) was a lovely person but her technique was just sloppy: there was very little pressure applied when pulling the wax up so I am left with a lot of broken hairs that weren't pulled out at the root, and I was left with so many full-grown strays of hair and sticky globs of wax on my legs that I spent almost 20 minutes post-service attempting to take care of both which, for a waxing service, is just unacceptably frustrating to me. The bikini area along my panty line on the inner thighs was completely forgotten so not sure why I was charged for a service that wasn't actually provided. This location also has a noisy, industrial fan blowing at an unnecessarily high level which causes a few problems for the customer: when you lay on the table, the fan aggressively blows straight into your eyes so by the time my appointment was over I had cried so much my eyes were red and irritated and I was freezing the entire duration of the appointment, not to mention the mess it causes when you're attempting to dress post-service and the flimsy paper protector on the table which is now covered in wax and piles of baby powder is being blown around. They justify the fan as a tool for keeping the rooms cool enough to ensure the wax hardens, but surely a less intrusive means is not outside the realm of possibility. As for the price to value ratio, you will be overpaying here as their listed prices are misleading. I booked their "Bikini & Leg Wax - Female" which is a basic bikini line wax and full leg wax @ $112 and which was offered with a 20% discount for first-time customers, so my expected charge should have been $89.60 before tip, but the receptionist charged them as separate services in order to apply the 20% only to the full leg service. (Full leg @ [$75 - $15 (20% discount) = $60] + Basic Bikini @ $40 so they charged me $100 before tip. I suggest trying Premier Body Waxing or The Waxing Room instead. read more

I got a Brazilian wax today from Ashlei and it was my first one with her. It went really well, I liked how they do smaller strips for your comfort. I could of used a bit more pressure after each strip was removed but it was still a great wax! I will be seeing her again soon! read more

I had Anne (the manager), and it was AWFUL. The way she talked to me was ridculous and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She also informed me that she was not certified and told me that she was waxing because they were short staffed. Overall, I do not recommend a Brazilian, or any wax by Anne because it was just not a comfortable experience. read more
