We stopped on the way to beach to get an $109 umbrella and $15 base. The store clerk did not provide…read morea receipt but I thought today electronic transactions create records on stores. When we arrived on the beach, we noticed the umbrella was for patio due to each its tall height, long wooden base, and was not adjustable. Since this umbrella was not for beach use, couple hours later, I returned to the store to and return/exchange umbrella because we thought we could find another umbrella, the store manager said "no returns on beach umbrellas" - without any explanation whatsoever. That was an odd response. First, the store did not issue a receipt; second, all items should be subject to returns unless you buy an item like coke bottle and opened it. When I tried to explain the situation about the umbrella, he wanted to show flexibility and buy another umbrella the same size - they didn't have one - then he changed his mind and offered to buy something else - no refunds/no returns- but why? Why do I have to buy something that I don't need. However, since we were on the beach area, I said ok, I will look for a beach chair. All of a sudden, he saw that the umbrella had traces of sand, then, he changed his mind again and said "no returns - you must keep it." If the umbrella was placed in the trunk with chairs from the beach then there was sand. So, I decided to leave the store at once. Definitely an unacceptable way to run business and misleading customers by selling items like umbrellas for a beach use that are in fact for patio use - do whatever to make a profit . Will someone from the local community keep a close check to stores like this one? Obviously , the name of the store called "RB Convenience" hits any visitor/tourist like myself with high prices and taking advantage of its close proximity to the beach.

Definitely some Pros and Cons to this place:…read more PROS: Convenient location on the corner of Route 561 and White Horse Road in Voorhees with entrances and exits from and to 561 and WH Road, which is especially convenient, if there's a pile up of cars at the light at 561 (sometimes people let you merge onto it, but sometimes not). American owned and HQ in Baltimore, MD, so if your goal is to support USA businesses = Mission Accomplished! Self Checkout is nice (If you'd rather not deal with a cashier)...Scan your items, pay with Debit or Credit Card and just leave. Obviously, don't forget to bring in a reusable bag, since no plastic or paper bags are available due to the State Ban. However, the people who work at the chicken and burger station will sometimes provide you a paper bag, IF you ask nicely enough! Pretty well stocked with snacks, drinks, milk, coffee creamer, ice cream etc. KRISPY KREME Donuts and they get a fresh batch delivered regularly!! Yes, U saw the Krispy Kreme delivery truck and driver early Saturday am once! It was a heaven sent moment! The store and the aisles are usually kept clean, so no concerns there. The staff is semi-friendly (mostly because they are paid to be). Plenty of parking around the front, back and right side of the convenience store (if you are approaching from Rte. 561) FREE AIR PUMP. However, I think there is only ONE of them and it REALLY does need to be replaced and updated at this point. I'd strongly recommend going to the Wawa on the corner of 561 and Gibbsboro Road in Gibbsboro for the completely modernized and digitized FREE air pumps there and they have 3 or 4 available that work extremely well! CONS: LOTS of cones ALL the time - day and night at various gas pumps, so you may have to back your vehicle in to gain access to a pump OR wait for one to free up. Are they understaffed, not have adequate fuel deliveries on a regular basis or BOTH? Lord only knows! The "World Famous Chicken" is anything BUT that. I tried it ONCE and found to to be burnt tasting and greasy AND pricey. Not a good look Royal Farms...PLEASE do better! Gas prices can be a bit higher here than the NON-USA owned gas stations in the area, but the quality of gas is likely better at Royal Farms, so it's a trade off. Super high prices on convenience store food, snack items, ice cream and drinks - But probably no worse than a Wawa.

I visited 7/12/19- in the afternoon. I have enjoyed this wawa in the past and with all the price…read moregouging at the shore it's nice to have a reasonably priced place to grab a hoagie, coffee, drink or a snack. Stone Harbor recently put a rule in place where businesses are forbidden to give plastic bags and straws out to customers. It's an effort to clean up the ocean. Other restaurants I've been to use the cardboard straws- no issue with this. I've shopped around in other retail stores who do give compostable bags or paper bags out with your purchase. No additional charge. I think it's ridiculous that Wawa is charging customers for paper bags. I think it's 10 or 11 cents. I saw a lady yesterday who purchased 2 2 liters of soda in bottles and some other items. She paid and the cashier just stood there giving her a blank stare. She asked for a bag, he said "you have to pay for a bag", she said "ok-why wouldn't you have told me that before? How much??" He told her and she got so frustrated she just grabbed her stuff and walked out. I saw him waiting on others after her doing the same thing. . . This Wawa never charged for bags before. This is a turn off. Stone Harbor vacations come at a premium- stop nickel and diming people. It's just WRONG. I was happy to see that they do sell toothbrushes! Yes dumb me forgot her toothbrush. I didn't pay for a bag to carry a toothbrush home either.
