I was looking for gas and I passed this gas station which was considerably cheaper than the…read morecompetition, so I decided to fill up here. There were only two of us at the gas station, me and one other person. I had some issues with the pump as it was running very slowly, but eventually I was able to fill up my tank with the help of the cashier who came out to look at the problem. I went to wash my hands in the restroom because I got gas on them and was talking to the cashier about some recommendations for good Jamaican food in the area, but they informed me that there is none. During our conversation, they mentioned a fried chicken place called Maryland down the street, so I decided to go there. In our conversation, I learned that they serve food at this location. For breakfast, they have eggs and sausage sandwiches with various options, and for lunch, they have subs and burgers. They actually have a pretty extensive menu with different types of food. While I was standing there talking to the chef, another customer came in and commented on how good the sandwiches were. I visit this area every couple of weeks, and I will definitely try Maryland next time I'm here. I found everyone at the location to be friendly and helpful. They have only been in business for about a month. The thing I like about the place is that it is very clean inside and out. The gentleman working in the restaurant area is an accomplished chef, so don't hesitate to ask him to make you something special. You might get lucky and he'll do it. I actually can't wait to go back there and try some of their other food. He raved about his hamburgers, so in my mind, it's "challenge accepted". I'm always up for a good burger, no matter where it is. The ambiance was great, the service was great, and the restaurant area was very clean. It was just a good all-around experience.
