Good to see this old-school Wawa still holding strong. This place is a must stop when visiting AC or Ventnor. Thank You Wawa... I love U btw - It's pretty nice not having to pay that bs soda tax. I just had my 1st diet coke in months. read more

It's getting to the point where I don't want to go to Wawa. Although the variety of choices for food is amazing! Unfortunately, some of the staff is not. The manager on duty was great handling my issue. I ordered 2 shakes and one was made wrong. I which is fine it happens. When I asked for it to be remade the guy in the back had an attitude and didn't want to remake it. He decided to become augmentative and try to convince me I was wrong. I'm not sure what is going on these days but if an employee is constantly getting complaints. Businesses need to learn how to complete proper disciplinary action. read more

It was time to venture out of the AC area and I had plans for the day. They were to start at a convenience store to grab a quick breakfast I could take and be on my way to my next stop. Quick search and this was along my route to my next stop. When I saw it was a Wawa I was expecting this to be the full gas station experience. When I showed up, I was surprised to see that this was convenience store only location. I have only been to two other locations like this and I am always thrown by this. With it being a location like this that meant parking was definitely a mess. Especially earlier in the morning. The lot is confusing, not because it is small, but because almost everyone using it thinks they have the right of way. I did find a spot and made my way inside. I did a quick grab of a drink and pastry and made my way to the register. There was a line, but it was being dealt with quickly. I paid and made my way outside. I decided to take a few minutes before heading out. Watching the lot was crazy. Vehicles every which way and sometimes parking behind other vehicles in hopes of making a quick run inside to grab what they needed. Before long it was my turn to head out of the lot. I was lucky to be able to get out right away and make my way back on the road to the my next stop. read more

Stopped in for dinner, was eating my sandwich in my car when the police knocked on my window. Apparently the manager called them and said I was sleeping in my car. No , I was eating my food. Thanks wawa. Guess I'll go to McDonald's from now on. Total BS. read more

We're always pleased with the variety of food and offerings for no matter what meal or snack you're looking for I like now that you can take me at the six dollar meal deal which is a sandwich of your making as well as a beverage and chips and the sandwiches are quite big so my husband and I were able to share one without having to buy more than one sandwich. Service is fast efficient. It goes in the machine and within like 5 to 7 minutes you have your sandwich and you're ready to get back on the road. It's always very very busy asshole so there's not a lot of time to talk to people, but I like how everyone so nice and friendly and helpful. read more

So I love the honey Turkey sandwich on white toast with cheddar, Mayo, red wine vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Sometimes I'll get it with the garlic aioli and crispy jalapenos. When it's made correctly it is amazing. I seriously love it with some Zappa chips and dilly pickle bites. (I don't care for the Wawa pickles they put on the sandwiches.) The good - the honey Turkey is delicious. The tomatoes are always nice. The bad - it's often not made correctly. Sometimes the bread isn't toasted or the sandwich isn't even cut in half (like really?). Sometimes no mayonnaise. Often no vinegar. The onions are often missing or indistinguishable from the lettuce. Like if I purposely asked for onions I should be able to taste them. I think they soak them in water after slicing or something? I guess onions and red wine vinegar are now luxury items? Like ok - you might not like them but I did not just order the sandwich that way for giggles. when I go to the VA Wawa by my parents' house I love it. It makes me sad when my wonderful sandwich is not constructed correctly. I will end on a happy note tho - everyone that works here is always super nice. read more

The customer service here is appalling! I wanted to use my 350 points reward on my Wawa mobile app so I ordered a breakfast burrito. It turns out that the free breakfast burrito only applies to the Sizzli breakfast burrito (take and go warmer only). Okay, no problem. So the manager tells one of her subordinates to prepare a Sizzli bacon breakfast burrito for me except they've run out. The manager tells me that I can get my rewards points back and writes down the Wawa corporate 800 number on a blank receipt and sends me on my way hungry. I'm never coming back to this location ever again. read more

Wow, I could see why everyone loves Wawa. They supply great breakfast sandwiches and subs on the go. I recently visited around 9:30/10am and the place was packed. You are required to wear a mask when entering and they have stickers on the ground for social distancing. The staff at this location are not enthusiastic to be working here and I dislike how it exudes to a customer. Aside from this, solid place to grab a bite on the run. read more

Wawa's coffee is world class, the breakfast is a knockout as well, like the service they provide

Absolutely the best place to get your morning coffee the staff is terrific. Quality is great. Love Wawa

After hearing that I had never been to Wawa, my friends collectively said "we have to go". Perfectly put it's a better 7/11 with endless coffee options, snack food and even a kiosk where you can place an order for real/more substantial food. Can't beat a specialized breakfast burrito that's around $3. Wawa is also 24/7. Wawa gets an easy 5 stars because for what it is, it's great and needed. read more

Certain employees at the store have a demeanor as if they are racist. Why do people like that choose to work in positions where you interact with different cultures. Whenever I encounter the same three employees at the store, I am treated discourteously, and more importantly there is always something wrong with my food (uncooked sausage, overloaded with salt, not what I ordered, and...) I spend about $40 a month at wawa. Say bye - bye to it! read more

Wawa - I paid for a whole wheat tuna shortie and this is what I got! Whatever that is on the hoagie looks fuzzy & chemical in nature! - Convenience Stores Near Me - Ventnor City, New Jersey

I love Wawa. The deli and coffee are good. At this particular Wawa, I didn't have money one time. However, I drove a relative's BMW to the store. I get out of the car and ask someone for a dollar. I said, "I know! Driving a BMW and begging for money!" Well I didn't own the car. read more

I was craving a good, cold turkey & cheese sub sandwich and WaWa did not fail one bit!! The service was great. Although it was crowded i did not have to wait long for my food. They have an amazing soda machine there for $.99 cents no complaints at all for this location! read more

I've only had one bad experience at this wawa but nothing to keep me from writing a great review. :) The staff for the most part is super friendly. The hoagies and deli area are my favorite part of the wawa experience. Although i wish the hoagies themselves were wrapped in a layer of foil rather than plastic. Everything is clean and orderly. There's a good variety of just about everything to choose from. I love the convenience of the location. i live two blocks away and find myself walking to the store all hours of the day and night. I'm glad this Wawa keeps its standards set high! :) awesome place. read more

i love this wawa location, staff is soo friendly Terrence and Demetrius are great to chat with. free atm, duh. and great subs 90% of the time, seriously, in 10 months out of 100 visits i had 10 sub par subs . read more

Best wawa. Amazing employees. Their sandwiches are also the best or the best. This store knows how todo inventory and they never run out of stuff. read more

Lindsay, you're on point with your review. This Wawa is just classic. Free ATM. Amazing hoagies typical of ALL Wawas. Wawa Ice Tea. Semi-friendly staff. Maps of the local areas... (not sure why I'd need this.. but for those outta-towners)... Just fabulous. This Wawa will always hold a special place in my heart as my go-to hungry-on-the-beach food. It doesn't have a gas station, or the new building like the Margate Wawa, but it's perfect the way it is. NEVER CHANGE! read more

Went in at approximately 2:20 am. 12/16/18. Asked the women at register how she was. No response. Told her to have a nice night. No response. Guess she's miserable and hates her job. The women making the sandwiches was very nice though. Sad that some employees are so miserable they can't respond to polite customers. read more

Unprofessional overall, they will cancel your whole DoorDash order for no reason, I've heard the cashiers argue with DoorDash/UberEats drivers in the past as well. Professionalism is everything. Plenty of other WaWa's around ! Don't come here read more

The employees here are okay, they do their job as described, no more no less. If you go here for coffee at night, note that they will not have any dark roasts out. They only have the basics out at night, and a "medium" blend. The staff is nowhere near as friendly or helpful as the staff at the, now closed, Dorset Ave location were. read more

We are big Wawa fans, and whenever we are in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, we hunt them down. This is the one we go to whenever we're on our way home from Atlantic City. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they always have just what we want. The coffee is pretty good, too. No matter how busy they are, there is never a long wait. read more

I came here today and I had a very bad experience. One of the employees named Stephen gave me such an attitude. I ordered a hot latte and when I took a sip it was really cold and I nicely asked him to remake it to which he responded "how is it cold when I just made it" and rolled his eyes and walked away from me. Then he began arguing with me about how I ordered a cold drink and then when I handed him my receipt showing that I ordered a hot one he snatched it out of my hand, and someone else had to come make my drink. The other employee who made it made it perfect and it was actually hot. I understand that it can be irritating to work during quarantine, but that is no reason to take it out on customers. I never had an issue with any employee at this wawa until today, and I am very disappointed. This needs to be addressed read more

So yummy. They have build your own sandwhics and drinks!! If you go for breakfast time you should try a sizzli they have about 20 different kinds of breakfast sandwhics you could try. My favorite is the bacon egg and cheese croissant. read more

This is a tiny wawa always busy during the summer but completely dead afterwards. Always a good place to get some last minute food

Good wawa to go to, always have fresh coffee just like all Wawa's . You can't go wrong with wawa. One of the better companies in the tri- state area. The only thing about going to this wawa, which is not Wawa's fault is 5 cents is charged for a bag in Ventnor NJ. This is stupid and moronic. read more

Can't beat hoagie fest son! $4.79 gets you any classic hoagie!!

Stopped here as I was driving through town and was impressed. My experience with Wawa in general has been very good and this one lived up to my expectation. This is my go-to Wawa when I'm at the beach; I grew up with this Wawa as I spent my summers in Ventor as a little girl. Ahh, the memories. This Wawa has def. aged, and doesn't have the spunk of the new, big, with-gas Wawa's, but it is just a staple that I will never forget. read more

I really love my Wawa. The selection is great and the people actually do make a difference. Two, three, four times a week at least I frequent the neighborhood store and I'm always satisfied. Wawa is the best! read more

I'm forced to go to this wawa since the other one in town closed. Today there was one miserable kid working the sandwich counter and it took way too long to get a cheese sandwich made. Then there are bums asking for money outside. If this is going to be the only wawa we have then clean it up read more

I'm giving 5 stars based on the friendliness of the staff. The food we had was good but not great (the hoagie buns were awesome, everything else about our sandwiches was just good...which isn't bad!) Anyway, I was newly arrived at the Jersey Shore and wasn't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised when everyone at the store was wonderful, especially when my daughter's toy fire truck rolled under their ice cooler. Everyone was willing to offer tools to try to reach it, but one staff member spent the better part of 15 minutes with us until we finally got it out. I was flabbergasted by this person's friendliness and help. So if you read this, P____, contact me and I'll buy you some beer! read more
