We had two videographers who covered our wedding and they were very friendly, extremely competent, and it didn't feel like they were invading during private moments even while capturing them. That being said, our wedding took place at the start of september of last year and we didn't receive anything until the end of January of this year. what we did receive was only given to us after I followed up with Black Tie asking where our stuff was. It was also not the complete product. The final piece was promised soon after and has not been received (6 mo later, after being told it would be along "shortly"). In fact, I called Black Tie and they were under the impression it had been done when it was, in fact, not. They are now supposedly working on it. I think it is the height of unprofessionalism that the client should be forced to pester the vendor for their product. Black Tie does not appear to manage their post-production process remotely adequately. My email trail with them clearly delineated the deliverables and they have not handed them over in a timely or organized fashion. If you put in the effort to stay on top of them, Black Tie will do a great job. It really just seems to take a few phone calls or emails which are usually answered pretty quickly. Again, the video is fantastic and we will keep it for years and years and years and watch it all the time, but it was a pain getting it.

They caught moments that I never even saw happening, they caught moments the photographer missed, they got everything and made it look gorgeous!! I felt they did a great job capturing the event. They were very good about communicating with me about how the editing was going and when I would be getting my dvds. The pricing was competitive. I highly recommend them!!

Matt is such a genuinely nice guy, and it was just really great to have him around the day of the wedding. He had an assistant too, so someone was able to be with us throughout the day, as well as film all the 'details' shots. The finished product demonstrated that the actual footage on the day-of was taken with a creative and thoughtful eye, plus the editing was professional and well done. Matt was flexible and allowed us to create a package that fit more of our needs: a longer video plus a 15-20 minute highlight video. It was personalized with music and pictures that we were able to choose. He even uploaded the highlight video to Vimeo, so we could share with our family and friends. We are thrilled with our video---it perfectly captures the vibe from the day. Plus, there were so many parts that we forgot happened or didn't see. Please contact me if you have any questions.

What a hit! American Video is a small family owned company. They do not send out tapes to a third party so the chance of a tape being lost is almost zero. When you call the company, instead of getting a call center rep, you get a person involved in the operation of the company, someone who actually cares about the customer. The quality of the video/ audio on the files that I received back was excellent. American Video added labels to the files without being asked, something that the big companies charge extra for. I strongly recommend using American Video for any video transfer needs!

Unbearably bad. If I had spent my money on this DJ, I'd be demanding my money back…read more It was a three hour long medley of isolated vocals set to 120bpm garbage club tracks. One slow song to start the night and not one single slow song for the entirety of the event. It's a WEDDING. People want to hear slow songs and music that was performed with real instruments. These guys actually turned down multiple requests from guests for songs every DJ should absolutely have. It's not about you, dude. Play music other people like. Everyone over about 30 sat miserably at their tables waiting for a slow song or even just a good song. By the end of the night The guests were just hoping that at least the last song would be something you could actually dance to. But no, just more teenage club music garbage. They also apparently insisted on bringing their own hideous rainbow light up dance floor. It's not even remotely big enough for even an average size wedding. I guess without prep burger you can't expect much from a hack DJ. He'd be great for a junior high prom, though.

Ron is the owner of Cinematic Stories, and when I discovered his website I was in tears as I watched video after video. I have never seen anything like it. His website labels the videos as films and I understand why. After my daughter and I watched a few together, we got on the phone to make sure he had our wedding date was available. When speaking with Ron it was clear that he loves what he does. We booked him that night. Ron met us for dinner about three weeks before the wedding, which really allowed us to fee as if he was part of our family on the wedding day. The weather on the wedding day was perfect and thanks to our wedding planner and amazing vendors the day went smoothly. It was eight days after the wedding when my daughter received an email from Ron letting her know that their highlight film was ready to view. EIGHT days later!!!! The kids had just returned home from their Honeymoon. Ron suggested that they watch it for the first time on a large TV, so we all together that evening for movie night. Wow! My husband and I were in tears as we watched the video, and my daughter and son-in-law were equally amazed by what he had created. My daughter barely remembered the events of the day, and she felt this was an opportunity to attend her own wedding. Everything was so beautifully captured and the video will be watched over and over again in the days, weeks, and years to follow. If you know anyone getting married the first call you should make is to Ron and Cinematic Stories to make sure he has your date available. 5 stars isn't high enough.
