This is an absolutely HORRIBLE office! I highly recommend that you AVOID this office and I would not be surprised to see this office shut down in the future. I will take some precious time to recount some of the very poor experiences. First, the front office staff can be extremely rude and Dr. Peggy Watson doesn't care. Second, this office is concerned primarily with $$s, not customer service or patient care. Lastly, you cannot trust office staff, as they are unfriendly and focused on dollars primarily. My wife and I identified this office when we moved into the area. We choose it primarily based on proximity but I wish I had reviews before establishing a relationship. This office will set up unnecessary and overly frequent doctors appointments in order to bill insurance. I have never been asked or been made to come to the doctor as frequently as I have had by this office. In one instance, the office refused to refill two maintenance prescriptions that I had been taking for years unless I returned to the office and had blood work done that I already had done three months before. When this occurred, I tried to reason with the staff but eventually became angry. The staff wouldn't allow me to talk to a nurse but said they would get a message to the nurse but my call was never returned. When I called back, the front office staff was dismissive and outright rude. The office essentially held the refill of maintenance medication needed hostage until I came into the office for an appointment. Luckily they had a cancellation and i was able to come into the office the next day. When I came into the office, I saw Dr. Watson herself. She herself was dismissive and at times confrontational about the performance of her staff and excessive appointment scheduling, money making scheme. THhe straw that broke the camel's back is their no show fee. I called the office the day of an appointment (less than the required notification time), but was told by a front office person I could reschedule without being charged the fee. Which I did, but the office did charged the fee nonetheless. When I called back, I was told that the front office staff's notes did not match the story I recounted, so in addition to everything else the staff is dishonest. Their notes matched the narrative they wanted even though it did not actually match the conversation itself. This office will nickel and dime you with unnecessary appointments and labs. The staff is rude and dishonest. They are dismissive of patients and their concerns. Service in the office is lackluster, as you can find yourself waiting when arriving. Expect to be required to show up 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment but not be seen until 15 minutes after your appointment time. Also be prepared to be accosted by many products for sale when you enter the office; remember this office is all about making a buck (and from my experience it comes at the patient's expense). After less than a year, my wife and I decided to find a different healthcare provider. We've gone to Florida Medical in Wesley Chapel. What a world of difference!!!! Dr. Watson is a much need breath of fresh air in the medical community. She is incredibly intelligent and treats your entire body for whatever issues you may be having. She understands nutrition and medicine better than any other doctor I have seen. She is incredibly thorough and will work with you to not only find the cause of your issues, but to treat them correctly. She will not just give you prescription drugs and send you on your way, which is what most of the medical community will do. In a time when doctors are facing so much pressure to see more and more patients while getting paid less, she has no issue sitting in a room with her patients and discussing their concerns for any length of time. if this makes me wait longer in the waiting room, so be it. I'd rather wait 45 minutes to see a doctor knowing that I'll get all the time I need with her than have my doctor churning out appointments left and right. Dr. Watson in interested in giving all of her patients to live a happier, healthier, longer life and her office runs like a well oiled machine. It is unimaginable to me that anyone would have complaints about this office! I highly recommend this office to anyone who can get here. read more

She is the most knowledgeable and communicative Doctor I have seen. she continues her education CONSTANTLY. She treats the whole body not just the symptoms. She has an in depth understanding of breast cancer and how to prevent it. She really cares and that means more to me than anything. I would continue to see her no matter how far I lived. I just have to make sure I don't move out of the Tampa Bay area!!! read more

Stay away!!! This is the worst doctors office!!!!! Be very careful what paperwork you fill out on tablets here because they do not let you know it's optional & there's a fee they bill your insurance for over $100. When I received my benefit of explanation notice i questioned them & they said it required by all insurance companies to fill out the alcohol & depression questionaire. I call Cigna to confirm and little do you know it's not required by cigna. This is insurance fraud!!!! Also I requested for Dr. Watson to fill out a medical necessity form so I can get reimbursed for supplements she recommended for my illness and she wanted to charge me $50. This place is only out for the money and doesn't care about the patients. Stay away!!!! read more

Its always a long wait for this office. They book ways too many patients. Waiting in the waiting room AND after calling you in. Had appointment at 3:00 and didn't get out until 4:30. The doctor ordered blood test for the visit, but the blood draw could not be done for a special test because all collected blood had to be out of the building by 4 (and my appointment was at 3:00). So only blood was drawn for 2 regular tests and I had to come back for the special one. Called the office for the 2 test results but they didn't want to give it on the phone. They required another appointment jus for the result. I understand if the tests results indicate my health problem then I need to come back for another visit. If they are OK, why can't they notify the result on the phone. I couln't walk in just for the blood drawn for the special test that couldn't be done because of their fault. So instead of having 2 visits (actually only one if my special test result is OK), now I have to pay for 3 visits. The 2nd visit is for the results of the 2 regular tests and to get my blood drawn for the special test. The 3rd visit is just for the result of the special test. What a rip-off!!! read more

Dr. Watson is brilliant and outside of the box, investigative thinker that is focused on getting you well (versus sending you on your way with a script. I can understand why doctors send her complicated cases. She really cares about her patients and the care she provides. I recommend her to people I know all the time. read more

Unfortunately I can't put zero stars but whatever you do run like heck from this doctor. They care more about cosmetology and eyelashes than they do about actual medicine. And they are complete jerks their counter staff is jerks everybody is jerks all the way around. Oh and by the way they will charge Arbitary charges to your insurance company. This is the WORST doctor I've ever seen! I had an appointment (my first one) at 2:40pm today. They requested that I arrive 10 mins early to fill out paperwork, which I did. After 20 minutes past my appointment (3pm), they called me from the waiting room and stuck me in a patient room. Half an hour later, Dr. Watson strolls in. No apology, not "sorry for making you wait", nothing. I had the nerve to mention that I needed to pick up my daughter and ask how long the appointment would take. Dr. Watson immediately got an attitude and was extremely rude to me for the entire ten minutes that she spent with me. That visit costs me $88. That's all that doctor will EVER get from me. I suggest you steer clear of this doctor. Unless you're interested in Botox, and other anti-aging serums that she offers. She's not concerned with her patients. She's more concerned with how many patients she can crank through in one day, and how many other non-medically necessary items she can convince her patients to buy. I'll be calling my insurance company next to advise them that they should remove her as a network provider. read more

I wanted to warn patients that the office is truly not interested in taking care of patients for medical issues. Hey are more interested in Botox treatments , hormone consults etc. I and my family have been patients for the five years we have lived in Florida. The office was close and seemed to meet our needs; routine physicals for school, yearly check ups etc. never once did we ever meet with dr Watson. It was always handled by one of the nurses which was actually ok with us. The issue is that when a true problem happens, I expect the office to be able to manage treatment appropriately for standing patients. For us this was a huge failure. Over a Sunday, I had a mountain bike accident and cracked two ribs, my son had what seemed a fractured ankle. We arrive at the office first thing Monday am in severe pain and asked if we could be seen by someone or get a crypt for extras and be seen later with the pictures. The answer was very clear. Do you have an appointment? The obvious answer was no , this happened on Sunday and we hobbled in first thing Monday. Then no we cannot help you. We cannot see you due to Botox patients that have appointments. We can not give a script to have X-ray taken. We recommend you go to an emergency room and get treated. We left, went to an urgent care , diagnosed with ribs and ankle fractures, X-rays taken, treated and prescription provided all at a flat rate fee We were seen in 5 minutes after arriving and were out in 30 minutes. We will never return to dr watson's practice. She truly does not have the processes in place to care for injured patients. Stay clear, there are so many better choices out there read more

Taken directly from the company web site: "We do testing to determine what hormones are deficient as you should only replace that which is missing. We always individualize hormone therapy to make for the most convenient, pleasant and cost-effective option for the woman." Very deceiving after what I experienced. I decided to call this practice since they seem to specialize in HRT. I explained that cost was an issue for me and that BEFORE I could schedule an appointment I needed to know if the costs for HRT and the testing were within my budget. I was told that the blood testing would be under $200.00 and that the HRT would not be much more than $50.00 per month thereafter. I was also told that the cost of the appointment would be anywhere from $50.00 to $150.00 determined by who they have see me,a nurse, doctor, or PA . That all seemed very reasonable and within my budget so I scheduled an appointment based on that information. I was seen by Renee Sawka PA and nothing was done beyond taking my weight and looking over my health forms and writing a prescription for blood testing. From the wording on their web site, I thought the test were done in house which is why they were under $200.00. The appointment ended up costing me $120.00. From there I was told to find a lab to do the testing and wait a min of 4 days to get the progestin cream out of my system. I then fasted, went to Quest and the cost of the blood work was over $2000.00!!!!!! Just one item on the list was over $200.00!!!! I could not afford this and I was mislead by this wellness practice. If they are the experts why would they not know the extreme costs of the blood work that they prescribe for their treatment? They were not even in the ball park!!!! Obviously if you are in this business you would know the extreme cost of what you are asking your patient to do!!!!! When I called and spoke with office manager, she said that they do not know costs and that the girl that I scheduled appointment with did not know costs! If that is true she misled me to schedule this appointment that cost me time and money and so I asked for a refund and the office manager turned me down. I asked her to speak with Dr. Peggy Watson and explain my position and she agreed and promised to get back to me. Never got a call back!!!!! Either this practice does not care, is incompetent, or just cares about money. From my experience I believe all the above. Giving this practice 1 star is too generous.
