We stumbled upon P & G Wells accidentally while a bit lost in Winchester, and it was a very…read morecharming little book shop. The children's section in particular was very cute, and we found a nice little book to read a hundred times on the plane ride home. The rest of the selection also was quite good, and the service at the register was friendly. Highly recommend a visit!

I quite like the shop The Works, however the one in Winchester is rather small and everything is…read morelike bundled in and so its like wandering in a maze when your inside. There is a few books which you might find a bargain and children books to adult books. Or might find a nice present for someone in the family or one of your friends.

I wouldn't so much call this a book shop, it has some books of course but it's a heavy discounter…read moreof art supplies (along with art books). Many bargains to be had there.
