You have to watch at night for wildlife I have see foxes here and they are BIG, and there is a deer population that I do see here as well. In the Spring, I have sweet little hummingbirds that come to my patio to drink the nectar from the feeder I have hanging and I never saw a hummingbird before in my life until I came to New Jersey! They are so tiny and nice to watch in the Spring. It is a nice building and nice apartment with great space to move about. Its quite comforting. Nice small gym to use for basic work outs and a pool in summer. Or you go join the gym next door to us in Harbour Plaza. All the stores are up the street or next door very convenient as well as the hospital. We tried to stay positive and ignore the negative reviews that were posted on various sites, assuming that those reviews did not reflect on the entire apartment complex. Well we were wrong. Where do I even begin? How about the "friendly" staff..I avoid that witch that works in the office like the Bubonic Plague. She is so nasty! At first I thought it was just me. Since I'm in the service business I expect to be treated with just as much respect and kindness as I give my customers. However, anyone you talk to here feels the exact same way about her. The "maintenance men" who work her don't know their a** from their elbow. They're a couple of guys who live here and basically just want their rent discounted so they work here as well. Anyway, within a week of moving into our apartment, our dishwasher broke. We notified the office and the lovely woman said someone would be here within a week. Um, okay, no problem we'll just wash the dishes by hand for a while..no biggie. TWO weeks later we had yet to have a visit from the maintenance man. Called the front desk again and the woman told us that they were very busy blah blah blah. Finally, someone checks the dishwasher and confirms that it's broken (obviously, hence the phone call) and then proceeds to tell us we have to wait two more weeks for the part to come in. Moving onto the inconsiderate neighbors. After purchasing a new car, 5 days later there was a massive door dent in my front fender from a neighbor who doesn't care about anyone else's property/a neighbor who can't properly park between the lines. The next morning after that incident my dad found a soaking wet wad of toilet paper thrown onto his windshield of hissss brand new car. Dirty diapers are just thrown into the parking lot for whatever reason. My neighbor's son's bike was stolen by some random guy along with her pack of cigarettes. I could seriously go on and on. I cannot wait until we get out of this place in December when our lease is up. The walls are paper thin, you could hear every conversation and "other things" until all hours in the night. It's disgusting. There is literally a family of 9 living downstairs like a pack of sardines with screaming children at 5am every morning. I can't take it anymore. I never take the time to write negative things on any type of forum, honestly. But this had to be done. There are so many more issues with this place but I feel like you get the idea. Just don't lease here unless you're desperate.
