So, I have to be in cities for better selection of clothes and shoes. As a manufacturing worker, I cannot wear heels, specific boots, casual tennis shoes, and flip flops without harming my feet. Companies like this haven't gotten the memo that females work in male-dominated jobs, too. This is not the dark ages where females are treated like second class citizens in every country. So, not all females can wear clothes and shoes for the sake of looking pretty for their men. They need clothes and shoes that protect their bodies while walking on concrete and doing lots of physical labor for long periods of time for their jobs. Most shoes in this store are not accommodating to females compared to males. This store has more of a shoe variety for males. Which is not practical in 2021, especially during this pandemic when females are trying to find jobs to survive.

There are no prices on most of the plants, cat food, dog food, etc. and they are super nasty when you question a price. Not a place I would recommend.

A salesman quoted a price for the dishwasher and claimed that if we came back on the very next day, it would be an additional 15% off that day's price. Upon returning the next day, the price of the washing machine had gone up and the Assistant Manager at Sears refused to honor what her sales associate told my wife and I on Sunday. She also chose not to offer any other ways to help us with our purchase; all she could basically say was that she couldn't help us. This poor taste from Sears makes me feel as though they are not trustworthy with their prices nor do they honor their customers to meet some type of satisfaction. We and will continue to choose to shop other places than Sears. If this store valued the customers of Emporia, they would have tried much harder to at least compromise with us on this possible purchase.

Jackie and her associates welcomed every customer when they walked in the store. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to point customers to the exact isle location of their items. From bird seed to chainsaws and water softener salt the associates at this location know their store! Every isle is stocked well and the store is very well kept making it easy to pop in and out in just a few minutes. Because service is so quick there is hardly ever a line leading to a quick stop no matter the need.
