Where I see other physicians staring at their patients blankly and rapidly flipping through diagnostic and medication manuals, Dr. Jeff is reciting complex pharmacological terminology and recent breakthroughs in medicine like he just came from a conference on whatever topic you're asking about. I've been seeing him for a good 3-4 years now and every time I do, he has time for me. He treats me like an intelligent peer, never talks down or makes poor assumptions, and is genuinely interested in what I have to say. HIs follow-up is strong and his nursing staff are just as professional and caring. Dr. Jeff's main goal isn't to push unnecessary medications on his patients, it's to find real solutions to their conditions. That seems to be a rare thing nowadays.

They were also able to get my mom to do activities, which the other two places she lived were not able to do, which made us feel like she was part of community. They also asked us questions to get to know mom better, at meals they would sit with the residents and talk about their families or interests, it was very nice to feel like they were trying to get to know mom. Every time we asked mom if she liked it there, her response was always, "I really like it here" Toward the end for my mom, my sisters and I spent a lot of time in her room. The staff was amazing to us, brought us snacks, water, coffee, etc. They also would stop by her room and check on her and us to make sure there wasn't anything we needed. At the same time they gave us our privacy during a very difficult time. When my mom passed, I was pleased with how many people came in and told us something about how mom touched their lives. I am so happy that we chose BLC for my mom!

He thrived there and therapy was wonderful. The aides were so nice to him and great to us as a family when we had question. That was 2 1/2 years ago, since that time my father has had not one but two strokes and spent 5 months a Benedictine trying to get back to whatever is to be his new normal. We were very unsure if he would even walk again. My father is now in an assisted living facility and doing very well. No he is not what he used to be but thanks to therapy and the help of the nursing staff and aides at Benedictine his is able to walk and do many more things than we ever thought possible. They are amazing people that do amazing things for the residents that live there. They have a tough job but always found time to cheer him up and on. Without them I am sure he would not be were he is. Thank you all at Benedictine for making his life better, and know this if he ever has to make a nursing home his permanent place to live he would want it to be at Benedictine.

Golden Years Home is a family-oriented adult home care facility that does not feel like a nursing home. The benefits of living in a family type atmosphere are amazing because it fosters normal living and not isolation. Everyone at Golden Years is so caring, dependable, and compassionate. Monika, Lubo, and Ema showed their love and affection for my grandma by calling her Babi Rosie, which means granny in Czech. I witnessed Monika being very diligent by taking her Golder Years residents to local community events such as the church festivals, town celebrations, and local art and crafts shows. My favorite activity of all was when the local musicians and singers would come to Golden Years for an intimate concert for both the residents and their families. Many times, during our visits we would hear polka music along with Czech conversations, singing, and laughter while smelling the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread. If you are looking for a family-oriented homey experience for the older adult in your family please visit Golden Years Home located in Montgomery, MN.

And he is a good nutritionist. He has good supplements. I don't see him for chiropractor care as I see someone else for this service.
