I have very pleasant experience with this apartment. I stayed there for 6 month and a half and had…read morea 6 month lease. After 6 month, I am allowed to rent month by month with a premium over original rent. I found a job and relocated to another state. I did not expect that they refund part of my last month's rent. But they did! And they also refunded all my deposit. The management team Steve and Robin are very friendly and helpful. Maintenace guy is also very friendly. Moncks Corner is a small town. But people there are very kind. In the six months that I stayed there, I have never seen any crime. It is a very safe and quiet community and is ranked the best apartment in Berkerly county. I believe they deserve it.

To give you a bit of the image of Woodlocke, imagine a woodsy setting lush with trees and shrubbery. Picture living in the midst historic Moncks Corner only minutes from boating and other nature activities and Charleston! Now you are relaxing at the Pool (maybe surfing the Web on the Pool-Side WiFi) or working up your enthusiasm in the NEW Fitness Center or on the Tennis Court. Playing lazily on the Tot Lot while enjoying a family BBQ is also a great option at Woodlocke! Then assure yourself of excellent, award-winning management and maintenance, where you will be treated as a focus - never an interruption.

PLEASE READ - Tenant Treated Unfairly at The Farms at Moncks Corner…read more My nephew, a young African-American male, has been trapped in unsafe living conditions for nearly a month. In the past 30 days, his apartment has flooded twice due to the negligence of his upstairs neighbor. We have video and photo evidence, yet management refuses to act promptly. Jessica Steiner, the property manager, personally told me that she would move him into another apartment on Monday. Then she turned around and told him it would be Friday -- forcing him to remain in a potentially mold-infested, uninhabitable unit for several more days. This is despite the fact that there are vacant apartments available right now. She has also insisted he sign multiple contracts before relocating and has refused to help unless he complies. When my nephew tried to speak with her in person, she rudely waved him off and told him she didn't have time to talk. This behavior is not only unprofessional but dangerous. We strongly believe his age and race are influencing how management is treating him. This has caused not only immense stress for him but emotional trauma for our entire family. We live far away and cannot physically be there to help, which is heartbreaking for his grandparents, parents, and all of us who care deeply for his safety. We have already contacted the City of Moncks Corner authorities and the inspection office. If this is not resolved immediately, our next step is contacting the local news station so the public knows exactly how tenants are being treated here. Tenants deserve safety, respect, and fair treatment -- not delays, broken promises, and discrimination. The owner tried to reply to my Google review using damage control. Here is a copy of their reply which is fake news: They replied Here is what we did in this situation. -Communicated with tenant and moved him immediately into a hotel -Repaired the ceiling within 1 week -Honored the tenant's request to move to a new 2 BR apartment -Tenant will be able to move in this week to new unit. Thank you This is all lies they quick patch the ceiling where are the pics why do he have to request ti be moved to a new unit?? Oh shd forgot to mention they requested that I take the review down before they move him and also it's charging him an extra hundred dollars a month. They have not reimburse him for any of his damaged furniture but as she stated she gave him $100 to go to a hotel for one night However, none of this is true Response to The Farms at Moncks Corner's Comment: Your reply leaves out the most important details and misleads anyone reading. * The "ceiling repair" was nothing more than a quick patch job -- where are the before-and-after photos if it was done properly? * You failed to mention that you refused to move him until I agreed to take down MY original review. * You then increased his rent by $100 a month for the "new" unit. * Not a single dollar has been reimbursed for damaged furniture and personal property. * The so-called "hotel stay" was covered by just $100 -- enough for one night, not a realistic solution. * A tenant should not have to beg to be relocated after two floods in less than 30 days caused by another tenant's negligence. That's a serious habitability and health concern, not just "frustrating." Oh and you maintenance team left him a mopping bucket to clean up the mess you failed to mention that as well. Leaving out these facts is not transparency -- it's damage control. we have plenty of videos and picture
