Only absolute let down was one of their service workers kicking us out. I was about dropping only 2 stars because of her attitude, but my daughter convinced to still give 4. We were sitting there in an empty Coco Eismilchbar, right at the window on two high stools, as one of the service workers came up to us asking if we need anything else, and I replied no we're just fine. Actually I was about to tell them how great their ice cream taste's, but the lady made us leave. We had bought each 3 scoops of ice cream in a cup. But this rude lady told us we bought this "to go" and have to leave the premises! What the heck? How can you do that to someone with a 12 y/o girl enjoying their ice cream. It wouldn't have took us longer then 5 more minutes to finish, and the bar was empty!

We saw this place recommended in a regional flyer and stopped in. The food is excellent and I would recommend getting the cheese plate as an appetizer. We were very glad we did, it came with a fig-mustard compote that was amazing. I had the Norwegian pasta with Salmon and it was delicious. The wait staff are very good and will explain any dish on the menu If you don't have a German speaking member in your party, they do have English menus and most of the wait staff are fluent in both German and English. It was a wonderful kickoff for our four day stay for the Zappanale fest; we will be returning here for our next visit to Bad Doberan.
