The man that works there was patient but not very knowledgeable about what he was selling. My husband and I ended up having to Google most of the things we were potentially interested in. The prices are reasonable, and usually better than the UDF and other chain places with a huge beer selection. The new owners seem to be alright, and they made sure to point out to me the last time I was in there that they now deliver beer and cigarettes. The drink selection here is worthy of a separate note. All the same lipton and Sobe crap that you see everywhere else is here but look around the corner and you'll find another 6 coolers full of beverage heaven. Not too much of the over the top energy drinks, either. They also seem to have beefed up the smoking accessory section as well. Hookahs now seem to have their own little section, and are available for rental.

I also have no idea why but in the back of my head I had some preconception that the cashier would be a woman and therefore a #ally That the shop was a small space in which I was in constant direct view of the male cashier was not something I anticipated. It suddenly became apparent to me how I was very much not part of the natural environment. The delta 8 gummies of interest were also literally right at the checkout counter, forcing me to casually Asian-squat off to the side while phoning experts. The specialist on call advised me to seek help at the counter (with confidence) but my courage was sadly shattered by a male customer who made fun of me (probably in good nature) for perusing THC alternatives rather than something harder. But my ancestors did not struggle for me to walk away from a dispensary empty-handed so I improvised based on the framework handed to me via my external source and purchased a $19.99 Stiiizy bottle of sour strawberry delta 8 gummies (100mg each). I almost ran into a counter on my way out. Special thank you to the cashier who turned out to be nice and bought (?) my story about needing to get these "for a friend."
