I was referred here by a friend for my son. I was able to get a decently quick appointment…read morescheduled even though he was a new patient. Walking in I was immediately impressed by the facility. It was very clean and well kept. We were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. I already had my paperwork ready and filled out so checking in couldn't have been easier. I want to say Megan(could be wrong), she was blonde and very sweet, mentioned she had a one year old daughter, she took us back and instantly came of as a nice and caring person and was very patient. Then Dr. Doll came in and the whole visit was way better then I expected. My son was awesome and very corporative, which always makes it easier and they both were so nice and patient with him. He was excited to get a token afterwards for doing so well. I thought that was an awesome thing they have set up in their clinic. Overall the whole experience was great and we will be repeated patients :)

They spent 45 minutes as the pain meds were wearing off trying to fit the crown on. The dentist was becoming visibly frustrated, and finally gave up trying as my daughter was clearly starting to become uncomfortable as the pain medication was wearing off and her jaw was tired. And then, instead of doing anything to remedy it or having us come back another time to finish the job, the dentist pretended all was fine and sent us on our way after collecting our money to avoid a bruised ego. After such a negative experience, we changed dentists, and I was not going to comment further, but I feel like now I need to. The new dentist looked at the tooth at my daughter's next dental cleaning and told us that it should have been fit for a crown and not left exposed, but at this point, all we could do was wait and see if any problems arise or pull it. We opted to wait to try to avoid losing the tooth prematurely. It ended up infected and had to be pulled. I am so disappointed with the dentist at this location who worked on my daughter, and the awful job that was done. Not to mention, after leaving a google review, the complete lack of care or accountability for what happened. I trusted this dentist with my child, and this experience has opened my eyes to the fact that just because somebody is a "professional," does not mean that they will put my child's best interests ahead of their own ego. I loved the staff, very friendly at the front desk. Erin helped me figure out my insurance stuff and get all settled. Dr. Stewart was awesome, as well as all of his hygienists. I was referred to Dr. Nielson in 2020 by an emergency room dentist who cleaned up a…read morelife-threatening abscess infection in my mouth caused by substandard dental care at a dental chain with the initials C.D. (As a new immigrant, I was unaware this chain of dentistry has a terrible reputation.) My infection was so severe I was rushed to the hospital after my face became so swollen I looked like the elephant woman and I developed a very high fever. At the time I was rushed to the hospital, I had no idea this was even dental related. Upon discharge from the hospital, we immediately drove to Dr. Nielsen's office. When I walked through the door looking like the elephant woman, Dr. Nielsen immediately took time to see me. He invests in the newest state-of-the art technology and took 3D images to show the severity of the infection, refer me to a reputable endodontist and create a plan to get me back to good dental health. I was blown away by his compassion when he refused to accept payment for the 3D images he took of my mouth. Dr. Nielson has a compassionate heart and genuinely cares. I have since moved my entire family over to Northern Smiles Dentistry and will remain loyal to Dr. Nielson for as long as he is practicing dentistry. What makes his practice outstanding is the technology he invests in to offer services/produces in house. He even manufactures mouth guards in house, so the wait time is shorter than dentists who outsource that manufacturing service. I cannot recommend this dentist any higher. AAAAA+++++
