This, at the time did not seem like a normal procedure. He explained to me the cost and showed me the price in a book he then said after he would look at the leaky pipe and tell me what it would cost. after I agreed he went straight to work up the roof he went without a care in the world. After about 20 minutes he came down and tested everything then he went and looked at my leaky pipe and came back and told me it was a simple loose connection and he tightened it and there would be no charge for that. a very good representative of this company, i'll use them again!

When the technician came out, he said the hot water heater looked good; the valve had just not been tightened. He went to his truck and came back and tightened the valve to ensure that was the cause. I did not ask for nor authorize any service and honestly did not think there would be a charge. But low and behold, Roto-Rooter charged me $55 because their technician used a tool while on the property. They did not care that I did not ask for nor authorize the service. They are very, very dishonest and are a bunch of crooks. Free estimate is a complete lie. I wouldn't use them if they were the only plumber in a 150 mile radius. Never again!

This is our second time in using Gallops Standard Drain & Company, the first time several years ago…read morethey replaced a water heater for us and did a great job. This time we thought we had a leak under our slab and called them. They were prompt in returning our call and coming out to look at the job and confirming the leak. They recommended a leak detection company to pinpoint the leak and we called them and they came out and did that process. Gallops returned in a couple of days and broke up a small 18"x 18" area of the slab the leak detection had marked, found the leak, replaced the section of pipe, filled it back in and poured concrete back all in a matter of a few hours. They left the area clean and free of debris and did a good job. I would recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.

The plumber had to turn on the cold water valve (previous home owner had the handle for the valve, but the screw was missing). Tried out the washer and cold water was leaking - because the guys from Home Depot didn't tighten up the hose connections. Had to call the plumber back. He checked ALL the hose connections and tightened up each one. I couldn't ask for better service. Very friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend.
