We love this place and everything is has to offer! The owner and his family are so wonderful and always make us feel beyond welcome. If ever we have has problems with our pond they are quick to help us find a solution. We have purchased many fish and pond supplies from water garden gems and have never had any problems. The overall atmosphere is great!

Such a pretty and relaxing place to spend your time shopping for your pond, they have so many different plant selections and variety of beautiful koi and other pond fish and tadpoles and snails that just makes you want to leave with a everything ready to make your pond a 5 star pond. Really encourage anyone with a pond to shop here before you try Home Depot or Lowe's because this place is for sure to have whatever items you need. Did I mention the staff here is super helpful and friendly which just makes for a great overall experience.

So, this place has really high reviews and it absolutely deserves them…read more The selection is stunning. The care they provide for the fish, plants, and the overall organization and layout of the store is glorious. It is the kind of store you could find yourself popping into just to kill a little time, because it's lovely and the vibes are so nice. If you're an aquarist that dies a little inside everytime you see a betta being kept in someone's decorative antique thimble? Rest assured that their bettas are not kept in cups, but in lovely little temporary tank homes, that are all clean and well maintained. I didn't see a single betta that didn't pass the "curious, clear eyed, symmetrical, glide and dart" test. I also heard them teaching a couple about nitrogen cycling, tanks size, and letting them know that they really wouldn't advise buying their betta today. Though if you have the cash to burn they do have pre-cycled tanks ready for purchase. I've been here twice now. Once to get all the gear for my tank and fishless cycle, and then back about a month later to pick up my first betta, Mr. Pants. I'll be going back this weekend for a nerite snail, and the weekend after that for a couple of skrimps provided our betta accepts the snail w/o a fuss. So with all this glowing review, why only four stars and not five? Well, the service could me a smidge better. The lad that helped us on our first visit seemed like he really knew what he was doing, but was super awkward and really hard to talk to. We made it pretty clear that we were totally new to aquarium keeping, had nothing, and needed a full setup, but he left out several things we ended up finding out we needed. The most important of which was a water testing kit, which seems like the first thing that might come to mind if someone is buying all the stuff to do a fishless cycle? The guy that helped us out on our second visit was friendlier and easier to talk to, but did kind of seem like he was in a rush and helping us was a bit of a hassle, even though it was a Tuesday afternoon and there were like four people in the shop. I would normally grant space for a busy, popular store being perhaps understaffed, or overworked, but both times we went there were at least four employees on the floor, it was just that only one of them seemed to actually be there to assist customers. Anyway, none of that is enough to keep me from going back, obviously, but just know that you need to do your own research about what you need before going in, and be willing to overlook some less than stellar service. A small price to pay for access to their incredible and well kept stock.

I was scared to start one tank, now I have nine lol. They have beautiful display tanks to inspire you in directions you may not have thought of. My first tank was inspired by one right by the register, and that's where it all began! The staff is always there to help and know what they are talking about. Everyone her is great, but I must highlight one in particular...ADAM! He is amazing and a huge asset to the company. He gives advice, knows his stuff and shares antics with you to help ease you into growing in this hobby. His knowledge of plants, fish, aquascaping, products and equipment is amazing. I want to personally thank him for how he has helped me grow from one tank to nine now including plants inside and half in/half out! Keep up the good work guys! And I've had these exact same species in this tank with these fish before - a tank I've kept now for 20+ years. And I've even bought fish before from AquaTek. I tried calling but there is either no answer or a message that simply states hours and ends with "good luck". Good luck? These were clearly not healthy fish. And the customer service is ridiculous. Buy elsewhere.
