I am pretty sure I can blame my ridiculous lack of knowledge in mathematics on the RHS math department and its faculty. This was of course several years ago, so hopefully by now they've figured something else out ...(my peers also feel this way towards the math dept. and the curriculum we were supposed to be taught). I was a part of the (at the time) 400+ marching band & symphonic band all four years and I was in concert choir & madrigals. I can honestly say, this aspect of high school was my favorite, with the most memories and friends made. I wouldn't've changed it for anything.

It's genuinely a prison. Like when I say that you might think I'm joking, I'm not... First off, they keep you in this campus with their massive chain link fences and huge gates. It makes it impossible to get on or off the campus. They take your phones now at almost all times. They take attendance every time you come and go from a classroom, often times forcing you to sign in and out even to just go to the bathroom 10 feet away. They feed you food that's genuinely rated worse than prison food, including the chunky milk. The teachers hiring process is HORRIBLE. Kids naturally sort them selves by race. Blacks hang with blacks, Mexicans hang with Mexicans, and whites hang with whites... legit just like prison lmao. This school is like sending your child to a daycare where they will learn nothing, yet the daycare is legit Alcatraz. I got lucky and got mostly good teachers. 7 periods and only 2 of those periods I had bad teachers. One of them was English, and as an example of that dude, he made us... a bunch of teenagers read a book about a Catholic school for young werewolf girls that needed to be taught to act like children. And he expected us to read it on our free time and write reports about it. The second guy was my biology teacher which was the worst of the worst. He was a gay dude that had a thyroid problem and had to keep the room at like 85 minimum so he didn't get cold. Which was horrible because I'd get out of PE right before his class, and in the summer it was just brutal. He refused to turn it down as well. Eventually he was fired though. I don't wanna slander him on the rumor of why, but let's just say it sounds like he was there for more than just his "enjoyment" of teaching kids. Anyways though, like I said I got lucky. My other teachers were cool and pretty professional. I think the only other one that was kinda mid was my criminology teacher. Me as a freshman back then knew more than him. The guy was supposedly a cop, but hardly knew what gun he even carried. My brother now goes here, and it sounds like it's only gotten worse since I was there as well. It's an over populated, crappily staffed, and underwhelming school. All in all though, as you can tell by this review, I didn't stay long. I wanted to leave as soon as I could. This place was so crappy I went to homeschool and never looked back. Moral of the story, don't send your kids here unless it's a last resort. It sucks.
