This review is regarding the visiting hours posted online for Albany county correctional facility…read more They are posted online as Thursday from 8pm until 9:15; but they really end at 9pm. I was there to visit someone. I waited in line from 7:40 until 8:55. I signed in at that time; and at 9pm they announced visiting hours were over. I never got to see the person that was expecting me. They didn't even know I was there. I think this is really a very poor way to run any institution. It was a waste of my time and gasoline; and a disappointment to the person expecting a visit. Is this what our taxes pay for in Albany, N Y? What a crying shame!
