We had an ill family member and didn't want disruption at the house, this company understood that and showed compassion for our situation. We had a large complicated roofline and a seperate detached building. They promised to do the job in a day and they didn't disappoint. Nathan, "Bob", stayed in touch with us throughout the preparation, material delivery, and day of service. The crew showed up as the sun come up, getting tarps down to protect our property and minimize the mess. After a long 12 hour day, as the sunset, the crew was doing a final walkthrough to ensure our lawn and property was as prestine as It was before they started. The crews were respectful, each working extremely independent and efficient. We love the color and quality. We had several companies bid the job but found the quality and price of the product was exactly as we expected. Thank you & a large shout out to the crews.

Because of COVID, contractors could not visit him with proposals, so he asked me to find a contractor. I called a couple of locations including Handyman Solutions. They were very helpful in explaining how to measure for the stairlift, and their price was $1000 less for the lift I needed. The homeowner approved their proposal. They were booked for about 2 weeks, but they said Matt tried to work in jobs like this into the schedule as soon as possible so people could return home. The following day one of their jobs only took 1/2 the time estimated. They sent Brad out to install my customers stairlift. He did a great job. He showed me how to operate the unit, and offered to come back to show the homeowner if needed. He also did an inspection of the home for fall hazards, and potential devices to help the homeowner. Matt followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was satisfactory. I could not be more impressed with the service and professionalism of Handyman Solutions. Mike does great work; he's quick and doesn't leave a big mess. He was also very reasonable price wise. We were pleased to note that Mike is a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. As a veteran household and business owner, we like to support small businesses run by veterans. He also does side work for Habitat for Humanity. As requested, Hubs emailed pics of our house and received a quote (house, gutters & outside of windows) that afternoon. Thursday was (another) slightly damp day, so we were contacted that am to see if we wanted to proceed, which Hubs confirmed. Fred (owner) & Derrick arrived @30 minutes beforehand and let us know how they planned on getting tasks completed. (Note: they were very appreciative that we'd mostly cleared off front & back porch ourselves.) Derrick got onto our roof in front to access all our gutters (2+ stories in back) & it was incredible how much gunk blew out after so many years. Fred covered all outdoor sockets & removed screens (later cleaned & reinstalled) and then both alternated between soft washing a side & then cleaning windows. Three other young men arrived & finished up windows. Asked Fred about second story windows that were not dried off and he said solution they use prevents all water spots when dried and said if not "call us and we'll come out to fix it." (Next day: no spots anywhere.) Previous company had power washed our vinyl which left streaks on our (then 10-yr old) siding & windows, so were glad to find a company that uses a different, and very successful, technique. I would not recommend this company for anything! BUYER BEWARE!…read more We had them renovate our garage and add a front porch to our house. Robbie came out to look at the work and was very respectable, neat and professional. But that is pretty much the extent of the professional service. The first two guys on the job seemed to understand carpentry but when they were not on the job the others sent were not trained at all, one of them would bumble around like he had no idea what he was doing, but you pay the same hourly rate for whom ever is there! They were to install insulation, OSB board (so later we could paint) and corrugated tin on the ceiling of the garage. They totally missed one entire wall of insulation and had to return remove OSB and insulate and reinstall. Their carpentry skills were very poor and they put the rough side of osb out, making it almost impossible to paint. They did a very poor job of installing tin ceiling. We asked Robbie to come inspect the job and he made excuses for every poor carpentry blunder. We should have stopped right there but had hired and waited on them for weeks and wanted to complete what they had started. First day of front porch the post brackets were not square and this sets the tone for all further building squareness. Luckily my husband caught this before they got to far and made correction. They didn't complete the full installation of all the materials, just left the pieces laying in the front yard. We had to have them return to fix boards that were upside down and cut to short and warped, and finish installing the pieces left. Then they sent a bill for the corrections!!! Saying it was owners preference!!! They caused a short in a outside electrical wire to a light that they had to remove and reinstall, causing a whole floor of our house to not have electricity for a entire weekend. They lied saying it was a faulty fixture, I called the electrician which we know and love as honest people and where told the truth. Bax was willing to let us be charged the electrician cost to fix what they caused?!! Luckily I was here and caught this! This was the final straw for me!! We had not heard any bad or good about this company and were willing to give them a chance, but now I can say I would not recommend them for anything! If you are going to charge what they charge you must be willing to stand behind your work and send competent workers to do the job!
