Alright, now I can confidently give the three star rating. And I mean that positively…read more I did not take the risk of having them wash my clothes again but after not wanting to return to GreenClean, I decided to give this laundromat here another shot, washing the clothes myself this time. And it was relatively decent. To get the major downside out of the way right away: They only have the kind of benches in there that are usually put in parks and are incredibly uncomfortable. In that regard, GreenClean is definitely much, much better. But contrary to GreenClean, there were plenty of small and available machines to choose from which only cost 5,50€ to use. And you can just bring your own eco-friendly laundry detergent if you want to. Personally, I used my own detergent for black clothes because I obviously don't know anything about the powder that they supply. Afterwards, I paid 3€ for three cycles of low-heat tumble drying, 20 minutes each. The downside: One has to start those cycles manually every time, so you can't just book 60 minutes and leave to sit somewhere more comfortable. Also, the description makes it sound like you can book 40 minutes at once. And somebody told me about a trick that one can use to make it work but said it doesn't work every time... so not a great system. The upside: Since I had to check the dampness of the clothes every time, I also noticed that it was in fact low-heat. So I was not worried about damaging my shirts like it happened the other time. As a special bonus, I got to chat with an American astronomer while we were waiting for our clothes to be done. Although I wouldn't necessarily expect that to happen all the time. ;)

I lost 2euros sine it did not recognize the machine. God that I had extra coins. For dryer you really need to have patience. I did laundry in Rome and they had dexter.. for a machine which can hold 9-11 kgs they charged 4euro and the drier was ultimate, it dried 11kg clothes in 10 mins. Good luck.

Sure enough we ran out of clothes! I brought a roller full of laundry here and used one of the 3 Wash/Dry combo machines and did a load in about 75 mins! Pro Tips: You don't have to buy a €20 laundry card. You can pick the service you need, select the machine and pay via credit card. If the vending machine doesn't have detergent, it's also an optional add on when you pick the service you need. All else, you can go to Spar around the corner and buy some pods.

A nice laundromat, clean, no strange odors, machines are modern and efficient…read more This place is freaking expensive though! To wash the smallest possible load of laundry costs 6 Euros. Drying a load of laundry in the smallest machine possible costs 4 Euros for a half hour (which is sufficient for under an 8Kg load) Based on my experience with another less nice laundromat, prices at these levels are normal in Vienna. I found the fact that they have machines that both wash and dry all in one really freaking cool! Unfortunately, these machines cost 10 Euros (same as wash and dry separately), and there are only three of them in this place. Machines add detergent, softener, and a "hygiene agent" which I thought was cool, as it keeps machines and laundry hygienic after the many people who use them Other observations/notes * Vending machine was poorly stocked. * They have a small TV tuned to a music channel * There is a button that automatically dials the Austrian 911 number (Police/Fire/Ambulance) * They have folding tables and wheeled baskets for transporting laundry * Comfy-ish couches * No WiFi * Very close to U-Bahn station

This is already the best option in the area but it's not easy, hence I am writing this review so others will know. For wash, it is $7.10 Euro for a small load (8kg) and $14.10 Euro for medium (20 kg) and $17.10 for large (26 kg). For drying, it's $4.70 for small, $9.40 for large. Don't use the "wash & dry" machine on the right, the spin is broken. We thought it was going to fly out! They are also more expensive. ($14.60 -$20 Euro) After paying, must start your machine within 3 minutes!!! So prep your clothes in the machines first before paying. They say they will auto add detergent in the machine, hence NO detergent is sold here!!!Everyone I spoke to added their own detergent. One person that didn't add their own detergent said her wet clothes smells like wet dog. It close at 10 pm. Be prepared for all the small machines to be occupied, so expect a wait. Washes are 30-40 minutes. Dry is either 10 or 30 minutes for the same price. There is free WiFi but no place to charge anything. There is a soda machine. It is on a good street, a safe location. Restaurants nearby. The places needs a good cleaning (floors, tables, counters). The furnitures needs to be updated.

(Before I start with the review, let me state that only a few years ago, I used multiple…read morelaundromats in Stuttgart many times, as not having a washing machine in the building at all is still pretty common there. And there was not a single incident. Would I remember where these places were, I'd give them 4-5 stars now.) I was going to give this place 3 or maybe even 4 stars. But after having just walked 30 minutes (total, obviously - otherwise, public transport probably would've been quicker) in the rain to and from it because some GreenClean douche on the phone told me that the machines that were defective yesterday supposedly got fixed today, I am slightly ticked off. The washing room in my own building is run by a couple of people with questionable management skills as well and the dryer is just horrible, which is why I went to these laundromats to begin with. The second day without getting to wash my clothes, I have now finally run out of clean underwear and can thus only recommend: If your washing machine happens to break or you maybe move into a new apartment and have to wait for it to get delivered - do NOT consider any of these places. Ask relatives, friends, co-workers, neighbors, that dude you once met at a bar, walk down the street with a sign saying "Will **** for doing my laundry" (feel free to fill in the blank...) but do NOT bother spending a cent on these. GreenClean may have a great presentation and seem fairly clean and modern but it seems that the company is run by people with a similar mindset as this one (that review is German, unfortunately): http://www.yelp.at/biz/sb-waschsalon-wien?hrid=nqwp0cqiBZ8EMepPZ25aDg&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) AND it is pretty expensive at least if you do just a single wash (paid about half in Stuttgart).
