The only thing they've done right is manage to get listed on the university web site, which means they've got a bumper crop of students who don't know where else to go. Beyond that? Lousy service, rudeness, and condescension... Just one example: the last time we brought our stuff there, they were closed for a week afterwards. No sigh, no phone number -- no effort at all to let customers know what had happened. When they finally opened, we were out of town -- so when we showed up on the third day of the week instead of bright and early on their first day open, we got a lecture about how lucky we were that they didn't throw our stuff away. We're not the only ones who've had bad experiences here. There is a place over near Markt called VOF Huysmans that is pricier but infinitely more reliable and friendly

Anyway, there are quite a few machines, and the dryers are actually pretty powerful. Most of the instructions are in German, which can be a bit annoying, but even the German speakers seemed to be having a little trouble working out how to use them. Fortunately the owners may be there and they can give you instructions. It's not the best part of the city, but it certainly beats the hotel. Oh, there are a couple of pubs nearby so you can have a beer while waiting (though be careful because some of the pubs are a little dodgy).
