Sunday before 10:00 and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. Like the tasteful decor, very unassuming and relaxing vibe.
They have English menus. I went for an OJ, latte, and the Queen Elizabeth. They serve it with a small salad and waffle fries, and of course, their house made mayoish.
The sandwich itself is a sesame bagel (pretty stiff competition you Portlandiers... better up your game!), egg, streaky bacon, greens, cheese, and a generous slathering of mayo. Mayo amount will be excessive for most Americans, but for a mayo addict like me, perfection.
Although I was very happy with the food, I can't imagine it's something I couldn't do at home. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, and a lot of the menu seems to be of the sweet variety, so maybe that's where their wheelhouse is.
In a busy area near shopping and museums. Gave me fuel for most of the day, so it's well worth a visit. read more
