**REVIEW UPDATE** I have decided to add a quick revision to my previous review. Since my last review, WMP contacted me with an updated to his process. WMP exact words were: "Based on your feedback, I have made some changes to the process if we do a free engagement session drawing again. One of which will be to meet a couple at the studio before the session and ensure there is no confusion before the shoot. This along with some other changes are setup now." With that being said I feel that future clients should be in good hands as long as they have a full understanding of what they are getting into 'before' they shoot. read more

Everyone wants their wedding to be memorable, so having a great photographer is one of the most important parts (for me anyway). I met Mr. McCormack and his team at a bridal show where he was amazingly kind and welcoming and asked me to sign up for the opportunity to win a free engagement session! Of course, as any bride would, I did! Well- lo and behold- I won!! I was so excited because we haven't selected our photographer for the wedding and I thought this may be perfect timing as his pictures are gorgeous! Well, I sent in my information as the email requested me to and it said they would get back with me ASAP. I didn't hear back from him within a couple days, so I decided to call back and send another email, you know, just in case. No answer! I called again at the beginning of the next week, and no reply, so today ( a week later)I decided to leave a Facebook review to ask if there were other avenues to contact him. He immediately, I mean within 30 seconds called me back and asked me to take the review down! Seriously?? You couldn't call me back for pictures, but you can call me about a Facebook post?? During the conversation, he told me he was ill, and has been out, to which I gave my apologies but not without letting him know that it's good customer service to leave a message for clients letting them know. His response?? That I wasn't a client and merely just inquiring about an engagement shoot?? I have a $5k budget for a photographer, and was looking for one- I could have easily been a client of his- but his attitude quickly made my decision for me! Needless to say- I wouldn't take free photographs from this man if he was the last photographer in the area! Go somewhere where they will treat you with respect! read more

Warren is an extremely talented photographer. He did head shots for me and made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am surprised to see a lot of the negative reviews on here! I have had a very positive experience so far with Warren. My fiancé and I knew immediately after meeting with him that Warren was the one for us. We've done our engagement shoot so far and the pictures turned out beautifully. We will also be using him for my bridal shoot and our wedding(will update when we finish with those!). His photos are above and beyond what I had seen elsewhere in our price range. He has a natural eye for photography - just take a few minutes to scroll through his Instagram and you'll see what I mean. I am originally from the north and I have noticed when I moved to the south, sometimes people take things I say/do differently than I intend sometimes. Warren is British and I think he probably runs into the same thing. Warren has a very calm demeanor and his energy meshed well with my own and my fiancé's energy. My interactions with him have been nothing but positive. I guess here's the thing - quality photography is not cheap, even in the digital age. You get what you pay for - you are not just paying for the ink on the paper, you are paying for the time and skill that also went into that photo. Hours go traveling to the place you're taking pictures, creating the ideal shoot, finding the best angles/poses/backgrounds for each photo, doing edits, etc. I sincerely think that you can't get much better quality for the price. Warren McCormack is a gifted photographer. He is also great at putting dogs and children at ease. Unfortunately, when it comes to purchasing his packages, his demeanor changes drastically. With much regret, I responded to a Facebook ad calling for photo sessions with dogs and children. I received a phone call from a very pleasant assistant who set up our family photo shoot with our dogs. She told me to bring anyone in the family - even the grandparents! She said there was NO OBLIGATION to purchase any photographs. We would receive a free photo shoot and a free photo. We arrived on our photo shoot day, and everything was going nicely until the end of our session when Warren showed us the price list. We were in shock. Even the smallest packages were way out of our budget. He angrily told us we should have reviewed the prices before coming to his studio. My husband, children, and I felt so uncomfortable. We tried to select a small package, but he aggressively pressured us into buying a bigger package. I told him I wasn't happy with my appearance in the photographs, and he said he would edit it. I asked him if I could see the edits and he said there was no way to see the edits until we received the pictures. We left agreeing to buy a package we were not happy with, and my daughters cried all the way home. I emailed him a couple days later through his website letting him know I was not happy with our package or the way the experience changed when he pressured us into a large package. He never replied. I am going to be hard pressed to enjoy looking at these pictures for a lifetime. read more

Surprised to see Warren McCormack Photography has a bad review! My fiancé Cody and I had pictures made with him around Hilton Head last summer and he was more than professional, cordial, respectful, and a joy to work with. He took great pride in his work and had an eye for detail. The pictures turned out amazing and the only regret we have using Warren was that we ended up with too many wonderful images to choose from! He even drove from his home 6 hours away to be there. As a fellow business manager, I know all too well the difficulty of keeping up with the demands of clients. I've been following Warren since the shoot and through all of his personal ailments, he still manages to have a wonderful attitude and love of photography and most importantly his clients. This man does not have a demeaning or disrespectful bone in his body and it sickens me for someone to accuse him of that because an email wasn't responded to in 48 hours or less. I highly recommend Warren McCormack Photography and recommend you to do your research and don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch! read more
