I met with my new PCP Alex Jones. He is awesome! He listens and is kind and respectful and he…read moreknows his stuff. Great bedside manner. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

I'm a senior who has been having some problems with my legs, I think it has to do with veins in my…read morelegs. So called my povider Elliot Family Medicine to ask to speak to a nurse. I was told a nurse would call me back, did not get call back that day. I received a message on my home phone the next day, I was not home that day and called the following day to try to speak to the nurse, I was told she was not available, so waited to see if the nurse would call me back. But they didn't, so called the next day and I asked if I could speak to nurse. I was told she was not available. When I called again the next day to again try speak to a nurse, the person who picked up the phone said OK I will make it a priority for 1 of the 2 nurses to call you back. Well that never happened. So I am now going with another health care provider, which I have already signed up with. It has do nothing with Dr. Shahin, he is a good doctor, it the personnel that works there, especially one of their nurses. I had a problem with one of them back in December of 2025. To make a my complaint short against this nurse, I winded up going to the emergency room. I get yearly physicals at this practice every year in December and the last one I had was in December 2025. I was told today that I am not on their schedule to have my yearly physical, so they never scheduled me to have one. What the HECK ????

I've read a few reviews here that can be misleading when compared to their current practice, so new…read morepatients, I will try to fill you in as best I can! I had seen another practice here in Manchester that had rude staff, an unprofessional OB and decided to give Amoskeag a try because they looked more patient-friendly. In my first appointment, I was thrilled to have a doctor that didn't immediately want to just do a C-section. I hurt my pelvis at 25 weeks pregnant that resulted in pubic symphysis separation and damage to the joint along the left of your sacrum. I was told by another practice that I had to just grin and bare it (with a walker, barely able to move my left leg) and that it would only get worse as my pregnancy progressed. I'm also a post-surgical bariatric patient, which means during pregnancy my vitamin levels need to be checked to ensure I'm getting enough of them and they are being absorbed properly. This had not been done by any other doctors during my pregnancy so far. Upon my first appointment here at Amoskeag, Dr. Duhaime immediately asked me about my vitamin levels. He told me I didn't have to "grin and bare it" with my pelvic pain and there were things we could do to help it and his bedside manner is extremely pleasant. You don't feel like an inconvenience, you feel like a valued patient who has a voice. I had been told that my surgical history made me "high risk" (all surgeries minor and irrelevant to child birth). We discussed this in my first appointment because I was concerned. Other doctors had told me that I was a c-section because of this, I wanted a natural birth with very limited medical interventions unless necessary. He supports my decision, makes you feel empowered in your decisions and believes in your bodies ability to do what it's supposed to do. If not, he has the knowledge and expertise to make appropriate adjustments. I'm not due for another 7 weeks, but I felt it was necessary to correct some of the older inaccuracies I saw in older reviews. Obviously this practice has come a long way, I'm pleased as punch with my team at Amoskeag and I'm delighted to deliver my baby with their practice. I'm an RN at an unaffiliated hospital and have never met anyone at this practice before, it's rare you find a doctor with heart and a personality that will treat you like you matter. Don't overlook this practice, it's worth being seen here! I will update after baby is here! Good luck all!

Do not go to this office. I started my fertility journey 2 years ago with Marc Duhaime after being…read morea patient there since I was 15 years old. Duhaime blamed failed cycles on me and would tell me I messed him up. After telling me I would never get pregnant without providing any evidence, I decided enough was enough. I have tried to transfer out of this facility and Dr. Duhaime refuses to release my records. I informed him I wanted a consult for IVF after he recommended it and he refused to send my records to my consult even though this is a service he cannot provide. My new obgyn office has called him multiple times and read him the law to which he is still refusing to send my records. Even if you get pregnant while seeing him he only does the first few weeks of pregnancy and then refers you out, but good luck getting your records when he does that. Since I have been in this office since I was 15, I have seen the revolving door of staff. I have seen countless providers randomly leave and nurses quit every few month. Dr. Duhaime has quite the reputation in the medical world. Don't believe me? Ask any other OB in the state of NH and when they make that shocked face you'll know not to go there. If that isn't enough to make you stay away from this office, ask any OB about how he is banned from hospitals, which is why he doesn't do deliveries anymore. Before booking here I would definitely read every review and choose very wisely, or just save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
