The crowd was super cool, the music was good, the drinks & service were great too...I'm still not exactly sure how to get there the normal way, though, it's in the sub-sub-basement of a shopping mall, so I basically wandered into the service stairwell of this deserted building & down half a dozen flights of stairs until I found a door that was unlocked. Hahaha? No for real. CR

During our stay in Lisbon, my wife and I would often go to a supermarket to purchase bottles of…read morewine to enjoy in our hotel room. Yes it was a safe, cost effective way to get inebriated. However, we eventually grew tired of this and wanted to enjoy a cocktail or two with the locals. After doing some shopping, we stumbled upon The Bar. Unlike some of the other bars, The Bar does not have outdoor seating. Therefore, you have to keep your eyes peeled for the entrance. Upon entering the dimly lit intimate bar, we were warmly greeted by a bartender named Joao. We took in the romantic ambiance (they have a Louis Vuitton Virgil Abloh collector's book!) as we found seating on one of their cozy + comfy couches. My wife ordered the Porn Star Martini (you gotta love an establishment that has a little fun with the name of their drinks) and I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea (this used to be my go-to back in my clubbing days). I knew the drinks would be delicious when I saw Joao carefully crafting the drinks as if he was bathing a newborn. Six minutes later we were sipping on our delectable drinks. In fact, the drinks were so delectable that we slowly sipped them to not finish them too quickly. We made repeated visits to The Bar during our stay in Lisbon, specifically for their Happy Hour that takes place from 5pm to 8pm. With the exception of the signature cocktails, all cocktails are $7 during Happy Hour. If you're looking to consume an adult beverage in a comfortable, cozy, and non-touristy environment...I highly recommend The Bar!

Our server informed us they close at 11 but still served us at 11:10, we apologized but he insisted we stay. This was the main reason I am going with 5 stars. This server was very kind and brought us our drink that we drank rather fast so that he could get home as soon as possible. Both of our drinks were expertly made and the ambiance only added to the experience.

My wife and I went to SEEN rooftop today (March 22, 2026) for lunch and were thoroughly impressed…read more The food was fresh and delicious, the team from the hotel staff that greeted us in the lobby, to the hostess who met us at the elevator upstairs, to the bartenders that greeted us as we walked in and to eat and every waitress that stopped by our table. All of them were friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond. Seriously, not only did they do their job, but they went out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. It was such a great experience. Oh, did I mention the view? Amazing! The food there was great, we had mostly sushi, sashimi, tacos, etc, all of which was fresh and tasty. The wait team gave us recommendations which were spot on. No upsells, but honest and right on the money based on what we described we wanted. They knew their stuff and delivered. That was a highlight for sure. Well done, SEEN team. And as a side note, the folks - well one person in particular - who complained about the dress code, it's seriously not a "thing." It's very clearly spelled out and it's not a huge burden. Image attached. It's clearly referenced when you make a reservation, it's on their website, and it's frankly not unreasonable. We saw a range of people there and they were all welcomed. The bottom line is, this place is a nicer place. If you feel like being overly casual, or sloppy, this likely isn't the place for you. And that's totally ok. There are plenty of other rooftops you can go to and be overly casual or sloppy at and fit right in, no problem. But honestly, you have to proactively work to not meet the dress code here. Especially during lunch. All that being said, we loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

First, this place is a must if you want an easy way to see amazing views of pretty much the entire city, which includes the Catelo de Sao Jorge. It worked out well that this was a last spot in Lisbon because it gave us a great last memory of the city (not counting the airport). Since we visited on a late Sunday morning, we were the only folks on the roof, so we had very "personal" experience. ;) However, I think this probably isn't the case after late afternoon because I can see this as a potential hotspot. Although we stuck to simple cocktails and beers, the bar has a pretty decent food menu with a bunch of items for folks to enjoy. Personally, I went with and stuck with the passion fruit margarita. For me, this beverage had a perfect blend of sweet and tart with a potent amount of tequila. For the roofbar aspect, I thought the cocktail prices (around 15 euro and up) were in line with a hotel bar (at least for US standards). Overall, the service was great because we never had to wait too long for another round of drinks. This spot definitely will remain on the list of things to-do.

And you're directly facing the Castelo de Sao Jorge. It's very intimate and there wasn't a lot of people when I was there. Since the Santa Justa lift is closed, one of the best locations to see a very similar view. I will say it was extremely difficult to find it at first. That is the main reason why I didn't get my five stars. The GPS gets confused because it's located on the second floor and so it keeps taking you down the street of the santa justa lift. I was getting so frustrated because I was looping around a bunch of times. In order to find it, you have to go to the Carmo convent and it is behind the Museum. Otherwise, though it has a classic drink menu for a decent price. There's around 50 people worth of seating covered and uncovered. I will say, though when the sunset happens, you're completely shaded by buildings and so it's on the cooler darker side until they turn on the lights.
