Papa had given it to her and if you knew my grandmother you might remember her ring. I called it a snowball dinner ring. When my mom passed away I inherited it. I wanted to wear it but already had another ring created with some of her jewelry. I had taken it to JBD to see what could be done with it. Immediately Tammy said make it into hoop earrings and match the center stone for studs. Mark did his magic and yesterday we picked them up. I'm so proud of his creation because now I can wear them. Thank you Tammy and Mark. Also including husband's ring that was created from his dad's rings.

When I wanted to compare one that I loved (that I ended up purchasing) with a band that wasn't in the case, she worked to creatively come up with a band that compared. The rest of the staff was also friendly and accommodating. I will be returning to Ware Jewelers!

Trust me when I say this place is the ONLY jeweler you want to go to in the Auburn or Opelika area…read more I'll keep this story short but I've used them for a few minor things over the years and had nothing but genuine experiences. It had been almost two years since I had stopped by. I went back last week and immediately without giving my name or anything they recognized me and even remembered the item from years back and were excited to see me (and no it wasn't some expensive memorable item). If that doesn't show you that they actually care and are in business for the right reasons I don't know what will. They won't speak over you, try to push you to buy anything, or treat you unfairly. They are just simply amazing, do GREAT work, and have the most reasonable prices in town which is just icing on the cake. Love them and you won't regret taking my advice to stay away from everywhere else in the area :)

I overheard that this shop will soon be relocating to its new home inside of J&M since this building will become luxury condos (side note: what isn't becoming condos?). I didn't have any intention of buying something for myself but ended up leaving with some jewelry, oops! If you've been to The Beehive in Atlanta, The Local Market reminds me a lot of it. Definitely stop by and check out what amazing stuff local creative types have to offer.

And the jewelry through out the store was delightful and make be want to look at jewelry, and I am not really into jewelry in that way, but it is just so pretty. Very professional. I do not think they over charged either, 15 bucks to fix my clasp. If in the are ever again this will be my go to place for my jewelry needs! As it seems to be ran by honest hood people.

I have to say up front that I've never been there to sell anything so I can't speak for how fair they are with those types of transactions. I have, however, purchased both jewelry, bullion, and coins from them and the prices have always been excellent, better than fair. I always leave feeling as I've received a good deal. I do have to say that their selection of coins isn't great and you usually have to ask for them to bring their current selection from the back. Sometimes they have nothing. It's always hit or miss. To me, this makes visits there more fun but I can understand how others would be frustrated after stopping by and finding nothing they want for sale. The staff is extremely friendly! I always leave with a smile on my face because of the excellent customer service. The owner is always happy to have a friendly conversation. Whether you are shopping for jewelry, coins or bullion, Gold and Silver Trading Company is worth a moment of your time. You may find nothing, but you may find a beautiful piece at a great price as I have many times!
