He told me my case wouldn't be expedited even if I submitted a request -- yet when I submitted it myself, it was approved. He also insisted that NVC wouldn't move my case, but they did after I contacted them directly. When I politely asked why he never informed me about the required documents for the interview, he accused me of "just wanting someone to blame," and then hung up on me, which was completely uncalled for. When I pressed him for answers, I got replies that were adversarial, telling me that he had other clients, not just my wife and I. He never mentioned that I needed to provide my wife with an original Divorce Decree from my previous marriage, so that caused a delay after waiting 26 months (currently) for an IR1 marriage visa. We only found this out AFTER her immigration interview that took place on the East Coast of Canada, when my wife lived in Calgary (midwest). Due to this, we will miss ANOTHER Thanksgiving together, possibly Christmas, and the drive to bring her home - will be more difficult due to weather conditions. Keep your money, don't waste it on terrible service and a person who answers emails only when they feel like it. AVOID!

About 4 years later another attorney found the problem and the younger Guertin siad they would fix it. When I told him time was of the essence he blamed ME for their original mistake and said they would take 2 to 3 weeks to fix. I hung up on him and they did respond fairly quickly. Went in and signed the corrected deeds and had them fax them to my attorney. Unfortunatly they made an error on the dicription on 1 of the deeds and that had to be corrected. It still has not been recorded at the townhall as I write this note. I wonder what mistakes may have been made on the Trust side?????????? Not trust worthy as far as I am concerned.
