We keep bringing her all of our cases because she is reliable and consistently provides us with first-rate legal services. She is careful to read all of our paperwork, is well-prepared for each court appearance, and helps us understand what is happening in our cases. She charges reasonable fees and understands what her clients want. She is reachable at all hours and responds right away by email or phone call. She has scheduled appointments on nights and weekends so we don't have to miss work. My husband just had to hired her to go back to family court with his child's mother. We wouldn't use any other lawyer for our family and we highly recommend her.

As soon as Tara filed motions and went to Court with me, I received immediate orders giving me custody of my daughter. Then, over the next six months Tara patiently worked to get final orders that gave me all of the rights to my daughter. Tara gave me a flexible payment plan and did not charge me for every minute of her time. She responded the same day when I would call her and met with me several times to prepare my testimony and financial documents. I will always be grateful for how she helped me to protect my daughter and changed our lives.

When I pressed him for answers, I got replies that were adversarial, telling me that he had other clients, not just my wife and I. He was happy to take my money, but didn't do much other than the initial filing. He never mentioned that I needed to provide my wife with an original Divorce Decree from my previous marriage, so that caused a delay after waiting 26 months (currently) for an IR1 marriage visa. We only found this out AFTER her immigration interview that took place on the East Coast of Canada, when my wife lived in Calgary (midwest). Due to this, we will miss ANOTHER Thanksgiving together, possibly Christmas, and the drive to bring her home - will be more difficult due to weather conditions. Keep your money, don't waste it on terrible service and a person who answers emails only when they feel like it. AVOID!

Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disheartening and disappointing. Instead of offering understanding, he was very cold. he told me, "Don't come in here with the tears," and "I don't think I can help you." He also mentioned his own family problems during the consultation and said the case could cost thousands of dollars without giving me a clear answer. When I asked for clarification, he cut me off with "Stop it." I left the office feeling hurt, confused, and unsupported. I understand that lawyers are busy and may face their own challenges, but clients deserve respect, empathy, and clear communication, especially when they are going through a stressful legal matter. It was one of the most discouraging and cold experiences I've had while seeking legal help. Needless to say he told me he'd get back to me and I haven't heard anything from him yet!

I want to thank this firm thus far for guiding me to Chapter 7 after considering Chapter 13…read morethinking 13 was the only way. I'm a life long musician and was worried about losing all of my musical belongings. They assured me that my musical assets will be protected. While the case can't be filed until payment is made in full (it's just shy of $3k for my case, probably the normal), they gave me peace of mind that things won't tumble down on me prior to when I can pay them in full, and that there is plenty of time. $500 retainer paid, I'll probably be able to come up with the rest in the next 2-3 months hopefully. Paralegals seemed very competent from my observations which is very important and often overlooked in a law firm. I'm at the beginning phases of clearing up my financial mess, but I finally feel confident there's a way out that won't strip me of assets belonging to a craft I'm deeply involved with and care about. We'll see how things play out, but I feel very relieved thus far and my interactions with the firm were very positive. Read other reviews, my advice to meeting with any lawyer is going in with a clear head, despite what may be going on - sometimes life doesn't allow that though (like maybe an unexpected death in the family), but I've had months to process my feelings prior to making the appointment and knew what I was getting into. I get it can feel daunting if it's your first time seeing a lawyer, but they're there to help you. Just let them. There's still work to do, but I feel this firm can handle it. As far as a bankruptcy case, it makes total sense for them wanting to be paid in full before filing for you.

From our…read morebusinesses and contracts to wills/estate planning and home closings, this is where to go not just for their experience, but their organization and accessibility. Their legal secretaries, paralegals and administrative staff are cohesive, detail-oriented and easy to work with and they help guide you through every step answering any questions. We had several choices when it was time for new legal representation. GPSP wasn't the 'cheapest' nor the most expensive firms we met with but after our meeting, they were the most comfortable firm we had interviewed where their experience and confidence was evident. Looking back, I can say the value they have collectively provided us over the years has far exceeded any retainer or invoice we have ever paid. Didn't really think of this until now, but to keep a client serviced and protected for over 20 years really says something about the caliber of GPSP's firm. Thanks.

He was slow to respond, rarely kept me informed about the status of the process, and was often rude, dismissive, and condescending when he did respond. When I followed up about the status of the estate, he responded, "The more I have to respond to you, the more time it takes from getting the work done." On another occasion, he told me, "I wish you would let me do my job." I understand that attorneys are busy and that estate administration takes time. But when you work with families navigating the loss of a loved one, there should be a basic level of professionalism, compassion, and respect. Instead, I was made to feel like a burden for asking reasonable questions about a process I was paying him to handle. Losing my mother was already an incredibly painful experience. His lack of professionalism and compassion added unnecessary stress and hurt during an already difficult time. I expected an estate attorney to make an already difficult process easier - not to make it harder.
