For deer processing East Dayton Meats is one of the worst places I have ever paid to process my harvest . Also tried to charge me an additional $25 for cutting antlers off skull after giving me a quote and leaving a required $25 deposit for butchering .

And as of May 2022, they are also a winery! Stopped in on Saturday and tasted the plum, blackberry and cherry apple wines. The plum was my favorite so of course it's the most expensive variety at $24 - the others are $18. The very enthusiastic hostess explained a lot more work goes into making the plum variety. But it was delicious. A sign points upstairs where formal wine tasting sessions are held. I don't have anymore deets on that but will be checking back. The shop features their home made jellies, preserve, pickles in jars. I was looking for sugar free versions but didn't see any. Outdoors is a little petting zoo with goats, sheep, donkey and a llama. It might have been an alpaca but you get my drift. Last time I was there, a resident cat was also making his rounds. Weekends in fine weather are very busy, only two staff members to serve the checkout or set you up to go picking, or provide you with some wine samples. This may be a seasonal business as I recall driving by in the winter and it did look closed. The burger was very good. It was cooked as ordered and came on a lightly toasted bun. The burger was separate from the bun and you had to assemble it yourself. It also came with some potato chips. The onion rings were passable but a bit oily. The chili is a full-bodied chili. It is thick and dense. The order came with no condiments for the burger but there was a tangy sauce in a cup for the onion rings. I enjoyed the burger and the chili, but the onion rings were average at best. The second time I ordered was the Philly Cheesesteak with no lettuce and no tomatoes. I also ordered a side of fries. The Philly Cheesesteak was really good and came on a nice bun. The french fries seemed overcooked, was oily, and average at best. The sandwiches at this restaurant are very good. The buns seem top-notch and the sandwiches are flavorful. The fried sides, though, are just average. I would give the sandwiches a 4, the french fries and onion rings a 2. That's why I give Zinks 3 stars. I also would've liked some condiments for the sandwiches and fries. I wish the chili would've had crackers too. I feel the Philly cheesesteak should've included some kind of side. The burger did but the cheesesteak did not. I recommend but I would pass on the fries and onion rings.
