I needed an attorney to stand up for me and protect my interests, and I did not feel that happened. Communication was another major problem. I often felt uninformed about the strategy, the court process, and what was happening with my case. I also raised concerns about billing while he was still representing me. Eventually, he withdrew from my case, and I had to handle the matter myself. I paid for legal representation and, in my experience, received very little meaningful representation in return. I feel his handling of my case put me in the worst possible position when I needed effective legal advocacy the most.
