My elderly parents have been customers for years . They did their initial will , estate planning and DPA many years ago . As things have changed with health care needs recently the children went ( at different times ) to meet Tamra and be involved in the updating and current needs . Wow I've never felt a chill like Tamra gave off from the moment we walked into the room . Not only are my parents longtime customers that should've been greeted with some warmth. We as newcomers were not welcomed . Tamra barely looked up at us and just started questioning my father in a very short and abrasive manner . He is extremely organized and had everything in his briefcase. Elderly people need a moment to process when they are asked a question. And he needed a few minutes to get out what she was asking and Tamra was extremely impatient. Condescending and abrasive. What my parents needed was updated in a timely manner and paid for. Our other sibling went back with my dad to pick it up and that sibling had the exact same reaction and feeling /vibe from Tamra . A few months later we were missing a form that may have been missed placed and asked for a duplicate copy. This request was refused by Tamra. Even though the paperwork belongs to my parents and it has been paid for. A duplicate copy was all that was requested. When my sibling called to try to figure out why it was denied, she was told that "we can't have children calling and requesting things" Even though in Tamra's "mission statement and on her website she states how they will answer any questions and help children with understanding the process for their parents. This seems hypocritical. When my sister asked how this can be. Tamra hung up on her!! The question was asked in a kind manner and there was no negative or accusatory tone yet she still proceeded to hang up on my sister My parents were confused about what they needed to ask as she told my sister that they had to be the ones to call. Our realtor tried to help because she is local and was involved in the paperwork that was needed. She asked nicely to please explain how we can get a duplicate copy of what was requested. And she also was hung up on. All of us have had many years of business relationships , service industry and helping profession careers and interactions with individuals and companies. We have never ever had an issue or come across anything quite as awful as this experience. Our business has gone elsewhere. And I definitely would caution anybody to look around a bit before considering this business . In addendum, Im not sure this building is handicap accessible? Which seems to be important when your primary focus is dealing with elderly. Would be something to inquire about if needed .. it wasn't apparent to us on our visits as it is an old house and steps in front . read more

While the front desk was great and courteous, the experience with the actual attorney amounted to this: She was rude, condescending and clearly didn't want to discuss our needs or build a relationship. The staff at this law firm were fabulous, kind, and professional. I wish I could say the same for Tamra Waltemath. While she was competent when it came to her writing a will for my husband and myself, we found her very impersonable. When we arrived to sign our paperwork we noticed a small sign that said to not being small children to the signing appointment. Unfortunately we noticed it too late and had our almost 2 year old with us. When she came out I apologized about it and she said it was more for our convenience so we could concentrate. So naturally during our appointment our daughter had a minor tantrum. Tamra seemed very annoyed and asked if we wanted to continue. I said yes and a few moments later a staff member entered and kindly offered to entertain our daughter so we could finish. Before I even had a chance to thank him, but decline, Tamra very rudely said that they weren't a babysitting service and would not be doing that. Wow. I thought that was beyond uncalled for, condescending, and disrespectful to not only us, as her clients, but also her staff. Tamra was the most uncaring and unprofessional attorney I have ever dealt with. It took me several attempts to get her to return a phone call. She was rude and sarcastic on the phone, and I was so turned off by her demeanor that I transferred all of my father's estate matters to another attorney, one that realizes the value of treating clients with respect. read more

Tamra did get my husband and my will written, which I am sure was done somewhat sufficiently (hopefully), which is why I gave two stars instead of one, as well as for her assistant / front desk person. She is just a doll and so sweet and friendly. I wish she was the lawyer because I would use her and recommend her a million times over, but unfortunately she was not. I Cannot say the same nice for Ms. Waltemath. She was so condescending, looked and spoke to me like I was an idiot every time I asked a question. I finally just stopped asking questions or saying anything at all because I felt so belittled by time we were almost done with our appointment, and because I knew what her response was going to be, which is unfortunate with such a serious document at hand.
